Week 3 Venting Thread (1 Viewer)

At the end of the first halves buffalo has scored more points than anyone; well other than the big benless steelers. what the hell?

I am done listening to people.. Who should I start Walters or Ward?

Start Walters, Pittsburgh will be conservative.

Yeah Ok..

And BTW Eff Off Favre.

ARGH! I pulled Cribbs in my Returner league because I decided to check the injury report before church. Shoudl have just left my lineup alone

Favored by 57 points over a team with Wallace and Boldin in its lineup.

Now projected to lose.

Had the Bucs defense in my 20-team league up against Charlie Batch.

Picked the Patriots to destroy my horrible pathetic Bills team at home in Eliminator.

It's not looking too good. I've turned off the games to play PokerStars.

Hillis on the bench, started Charles (fantasy stiff)
I'll one-up you... Hillis on my bench in both leagues, started Best instead. Lance Moore on my bench in both leagues, Mason starting in both. On the upside I figure it's only gonna cost me 40 pts or so... :wall:On top of that I'm playing against Boldin & Brees in one league & Benson in both. Sometimes you get the bear...

:D are you playing against me? ;)

This is the most horrendous day of fantasy football that I could imagine.

I have already played seven guys (Ray Rice, Hines Ward, Heath Miller, Miles Austin, Jahvid Best, Neil Rackers, and the Pats defense) and my opponent has only started three (Chris Johnson, Pierre Thomas, and Jason Witten). I am down by 3.

Oh, and I left C.J. Spiller on the bench, who would have gotten my 19 points...not that it really would have mattered.

I am currently 2-0, but my team just scares me for the rest of the season because Ray Rice just hasn't done anything to warrant the first pick. Jahvid Best will probably be fine, but he seems like he'll be extremely inconsistent, and Heath Miller and Hines Ward are all over the place...which hopefully will improve with Big Ben, but who knows.

So I was just thinking that my team was terrible today, but now I'm finding out that Ray Rice and Jahvid Best both had injuries. My third RB is Cadillac Williams who seems like he's losing carries.

If Rice or Best is out for anything more than a week or two, my season is probably ruined. I would be rolling out Cadillac Williams, C.J. Spiller, or Michael Bush every week. That would be fun.

Week 1: started Henne and sat Garrard (Cost me a win) Record 0-1

Week 2: started Steven Jackson & Frank Gore and sat Best (I Still won and who knew really) Record 1-1

Week 3: drank the Best Kool Aid, started Best and sat Steven Jackson & Peyton Hillis (probably cost me again) Record 1-2

Time to trade Hillis and/or Peyton.....to get a top WR/QB

Played against Brady, Chris Johnson & Boldin.....good times. Unless the Packers/Bears game ends something like 49-45, w/ Rodgers & Knox involved in about 4 scores apiece, 0-3, here I come.

I decided to bench Jabar Gaffney today in place of Miles Austin, Hines Ward, Johnny Knox, and Greg Jennings. Gaffney is lighting it up, with close to 100 yards in the first half.

I will be 1-2 after this week. I will have the highest points scored in the league, and even higher points scored against me as I will now have lost twice to the team with the highest point total, while I had 2nd that particular week.

This week, my all-star roster of Cutler, Best, Bradshaw, Jackson, Moss, Wayne and Finley will lose to Brady, Benson, P.Thomas, Sims-Walker, Welker and John freaking Carlson.

Sigh... Unless of course Cutler and Finley explode to amazing numbers. I even told my wife this morning I should put in Orton for Cutler, but every rankings I seen listed Cutler higher, should have went with the gut.

Best + McCoy = loss. Doesn't help that I'm looking at Bradshaw on my bench doubling the combined point totals of those two. Of course, last week I started Bradshaw and benched Best. I am incapable of picking the right RBs to start. I should start doing George Costanza's "opposite" strategy when picking my starting lineup.

And Vick ... would it kill you to share some of the offense with McCoy? I see a 28-3 lead and figure McCoy must be doing well. At the least, he should be getting "salt it away" points with the Eagles playing a time management game. But NOOOOOOO - Vick throws for 3 and runs for 1. Only 9 touches for McCoy, and despite a solid 5.0 YPC apparently in an equal RBBC with Mike Bell now. Bah

A list of #### that happened to me this week:

1. Benched Spiller in favor of Tolbert and Andre Johnson.

2. Played against Brady.

3. Played against Boldin.

4. Played San Fran because I didn't hit "save changes" when I tried to put in Cincy.

5. STILL ONLY TEN POINTS FROM VICTORY BUT NEED TOLBERT AND VICK TO SCORE. I BEAT MYSELF. THATS WAY FLIPPIN WORSE THAN GETTING UNLUCKY AND PLAYING SOMEBODY WHOS GUYS GO OFF.

That is the most frustrating part of fantasy football. When you have the highest points scored and still lose while your team has peaked.

Oh, if Tolbert hadn't lost his fumble, or Brooking hadn't had a PI on Andre 8 yards over the middle (they called it but it cost me a point) I would be up.

Played the Chargers defense over the Eagles - 11 pt difference! I think this one move will end up costing me. Now I am down nine with Jennings (me) vs Forte (him)

Except for Rivers, my team lacked TDs today: Nicks, Washington, McCoy, Best, Pettigrew

I feel like the Chargers this year!!! :hifive:

My RB's are:

Ray Rice - left early with knee injury

SJax - left early with groin injury

Moreno - didn't play due to hamstring injury

It's bad enough that Rice and SJax have started slow this year, condemning me to an 0-2 start. But now my bad start has gone to worse!!! I will lose this week, sitting at 0-3, and I don't know if I'll even have an active RB next week!!! This is so depressing!!!!

I would trade places with you in a heartbeat. At least you have a good outlook for the remainder of the season! My team sucks! Keep your head up.

Benched Best last week, started him this week. 0-3 on the season. That is all.
Me too. Had Jamal Charles in last week. This week Best gets me 3.9 points. My bench RB's were Charles (15.4), Hillis (25.0) and Green-Ellis (17.4)

Trotted out Chris Johnson, Jahvid Best, Arian Foster, Miles Austin, and Steve Smith (CAR) at my skill positions today in a league.

My opponent outscored those five with Austin Collie and Antonio Gates.

Wow,

The only thing I picked right this week was QB.

The rest so far has been wrong. I scored 49 pts, with Ryan scoring almost half. My bench has 95 pts, and if I picked perfectly I would need 28 pts from Finley.

Opponent had Flacco, Chris Johnson, Hightower, White, Mike Wallace, Walter, Gates. League best

I would have been damn close if I knew how to pick. However, injuries killed me.
