He's trying to walk it off. Doesn't look serious, but hard to tell right now.How bad Gates injury look?
No word yet, but he's walking around all gimpy like, trying to walk it off.How bad Gates injury look?
Maybe Matthews needed a breather after that run.I don't get it -- Mathews runs for 17 yards and Norv takes him out. Tolbert runs for 1 yard and misses a block. Make that two blocks.
Maybe, but he was out for the next 4 plays.Maybe Matthews needed a breather after that run.I don't get it -- Mathews runs for 17 yards and Norv takes him out. Tolbert runs for 1 yard and misses a block. Make that two blocks.
Two sacks and an interception will do that to you.The Chargers look flat. Once again.
He's revitalized the franchise and fanbase. I wasn't sold on him before the draft, but sure am now.Bradford looks very much in control -- have to like him in dynasty leagues.
He's certainly given them optimism for the future. I think I was sold when he led them from a comeback win over the Redskins. The next step is a road victory. He's revitalized the franchise and fanbase. I wasn't sold on him before the draft, but sure am now.Bradford looks very much in control -- have to like him in dynasty leagues.
Maybe he thinks he's snapping to the punter. What's up with the Rams' center?
It did get to be something of a habit last year. =pMaybe he thinks he's snapping to the punter. What's up with the Rams' center?
I don't know their record at home vs on the road, but maybe they're becoming a team that only wins at home and can't win on the road. What is up with the Chargers today?
Yes. It was just after he dropped the pass; the defender fell on the back of his legs. It didn't look like the kind of thing that would originally cause an injury, but the ankle was already tender and it looked like Gates was in pain.CBS didn't show the replay long enough, but did I hear Beuerlein say Gates had his foot rolled up on again?
Great for my dynasty team but I was hoping he would look like a rookie today b/c I started the Charger defenseBradford really doesn't look like a rookie at all.
It's very noticeable when the Rams can get pressure on Rivers and the Chargers can't get any on Bradford. You're kidding me. The Chargers look like garbage.
Indeed. He can still stare down his targets on occasion, and forces a few balls, but hell, that's normal. What's really been astonishing to me over the last few games is 1) their willingness to use spread formations, and 2) the fact they're not relying on Jackson to set up the pass.Bradford really doesn't look like a rookie at all.
Now just imagine how great Bradford will be when they upgrade their receiving corps. What a bright future he has.
