He's trying to walk it off. Doesn't look serious, but hard to tell right now.

I think Norv Turner is incapable of getting his team "up" for a road game this year.

He's revitalized the franchise and fanbase. I wasn't sold on him before the draft, but sure am now.

He's certainly given them optimism for the future. I think I was sold when he led them from a comeback win over the Redskins. The next step is a road victory.

In San Diego's first 3 losses, you could blame it on special teams play and flukey stuff. But today, they are just being manhandled.

I don't know their record at home vs on the road, but maybe they're becoming a team that only wins at home and can't win on the road.
Yes. It was just after he dropped the pass; the defender fell on the back of his legs. It didn't look like the kind of thing that would originally cause an injury, but the ankle was already tender and it looked like Gates was in pain.

It's very noticeable when the Rams can get pressure on Rivers and the Chargers can't get any on Bradford.

Indeed. He can still stare down his targets on occasion, and forces a few balls, but hell, that's normal. What's really been astonishing to me over the last few games is 1) their willingness to use spread formations, and 2) the fact they're not relying on Jackson to set up the pass.
He looks very special.
