Whoever is watching this game...

...what the heck is going on? Ravens D, their offense, Bills just playing better? Who's winning in the trenches? Is it trick plays or just Buffalo beating Baltimore?

No trick plays just beating Baltimore D. Actually making them look real bad. Offense - terrible play calling so far. They are getting tons of yards on the ground but keep throwing it all over. Rice and McGahee are getting nice chunks but not sticking with it.

I never thought I'd say this, but the Bills are actually taking it to 'em and winning the game right now. Bills are winning in the trenches offensively and I'd say it's pretty even when the Ravens had the ball.Long game, though, I'm sure Baltimore will get back into it.

I don't understand the Ravens. They are a running team trying to throw the ball. When you are getting 8-9 yards a run just keep running until they stop it. With Rice and McGahee there's no reason they shouldn't run the ball 45 times a game.

 Such a frustrating year to own Rice. But beyond that, I don't understand why they insist on chucking the ball so much. What is Flacco, 9-18 now? He was 4-12. They've now thrown the ball 18 times versus 10 runs, and both McGahee and Rice are running at will. I just don't understand it.

I don't understand why Baltimore isn't using Rice more in this game. At first I thought he was hurt, but then there he was on the last play. Why was McGahee used throughout that entire last drive?

Gotta keep guys fresh. McGahee was doing well, why not use both? Sure it's frustrating for us Rice owners, but it was working. There is an entire game (and season) to play, Rice will have plenty of opportunities to get points.

Against a defense with a very good secondary and an atrocious front 7. Baltimore needs to bring back Marvin Lewis to coach the D after he gets fired.

 textbook Bills.

Up 2 scores with a chance to go up 3 right before the half, and the Bills cough it up at their own 20.

Classic

agreed, but rice is a phenomenal asset in the pass game. why not use him a little?

They remind me exactly of Dallas actually.

Great individual effort from Reggie Corner there - should've been offensive PI there on Boldin.

Not going to be overturned, though. Corner got his 2nd foot directly on Boldin's leg.

Too bad.

Is Mason playing at all? Has he been in on any plays?
He left the game early limping but he came right back, has been in on most plays.
Anyone know the rules on this? If he was a RB in bounds he's not down.
Looks like they made the right call (missed OPI notwithstanding). Corner came down on top of Boldin, so he's technically not inbounds.
It looked to me like his right elbow came down in bounds as well. Regardless, this play shows the stupidity of getting rid of the "push-out" rule. Technically you could catch the receiver in the middle of the field and carry him to the sideline, resulting in an incompletion.

Hmm, well I missed the elbow inbounds.Either way, I agree with you.

And a McGahee TD. He's got 9 carries for 58 yards and a TD, while Rice has 11 carries for 59 yards. It's a complete RBBC, with Willis getting the goal line carries.

It's an RBBC for this week. Problem is it changes week to week. McGahee didn't get a single carry last week. As a Rice owner we unfortunately have to deal with it. Some weeks he is going to get all the touches including goal line and some he isn't

The only reason McGahee didn't get a carry last week was because they were trying to trade him. Now that deadline has passed, and this game is what we can expect for the rest of the year. Obviously, I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think I am. And they never seem to pass the ball to Rice anymore, either.

so how long does buffalo stick with fitzpatrick? he's not the problem with the team but journeyman QBs on winless teams don't usually play the full 16. i'd love to pick him up and reap the rewards of his garbage time points.

Forget Rice.

Fitzpatrick has dialed up 4 TDs. Three to Lee Evans.

Johnson has 6 catches for 143 yards and 1 TD.

Bills have Fantasy Relevance. :)

Fitz will be the starter for the time being. Talk is that Brohm will probably get a shot late in the season, a handful of games. His performance will dictate whether or not he's on the team next year.I would think that the Bills will take a QB next year in the draft and that Fitzpatrick will be the incumbent starter/"mentor" of the new guy. Unless, of course, Brohm lights the world on fire and wins like 4 straight games to end the year.
