The Browns once again are looking good early. If you just watched Cleveland's first halves this year you would think they would be super bowl contenders.

Wow, Brees was projected to be top QB in fantasy this week. You just never know. We get -2 for qb's throwing ints.

Brees' 3rd interception has him at -1.3 for me. Great freaking performance from my #1 pick. Are the Saints imploding today or what?

These are the types of games Brees goes for 400+
Unfortunately, 400 yards passing on our scoring is only 16 points. Take away 6 points on 3 int's and that is a crappy day. Brees needs to throw some TDs (6 pts) to make up some points.

Been avoiding this thread until I caught up to real-time on my DVR. But Here We Go Brownies!

Surprised to see this much trickery out of a Mangini team... especially the halfback pass from Hillis to McCoy. The playcalling has done a good job of protecting McCoy, who seems to be playing well for a rookie; but he's still a rookie.

Jesus... does Cleveland rely on Hillis much? The guy's wheels are going to fall off...

1-10-CLE19 (13:25) P.Hillis right end to CLV 22 for 3 yards (J.Wilkerson, J.Vilma).

2-7-CLE22 (12:42) P.Hillis left end to CLV 24 for 2 yards (T.Hargrove).

3-5-CLE24

(11:59) (Shotgun) C.McCoy pass short left to C.Stuckey to CLV 36 for 12 yards (R.Harper). Penalty on NO-M.Jenkins, Illegal Use of Hands, declined. New Orleans challenged the runner was down by contact ruling, and the play was REVERSED. (Shotgun) C.McCoy pass short left to C.Stuckey to CLV 36 for 12 yards (D.Sharper). PENALTY on NO-M.Jenkins, Illegal Use of Hands, 5 yards, enforced at CLV 24 - No Play.

1-10-CLE29 (11:44) P.Hillis right end to CLV 38 for 9 yards (R.Harper, M.Jenkins).

2-1-CLE38 (11:03) P.Hillis right guard to CLV 40 for 2 yards (M.Mitchell, J.Dunbar).

1-10-CLE40 (10:19) P.Hillis left end pushed ob at NO 48 for 12 yards (M.Jenkins).

1-10-NO48 (9:47) P.Hillis right tackle to NO 45 for 3 yards (W.Smith, J.Vilma).

2-7-NO45 (9:06) M.Bell left end to NO 44 for 1 yard (W.Smith, J.Vilma).

3-6-NO44 (8:21) (Shotgun) P.Hillis pass short left to C.McCoy to NO 32 for 12 yards (D.Sharper). Pass 6, YAC 6

Is Cleveland's D really this good?
We've had some luck on two of those interceptions, and some great field position. So maybe not as good as the stat-line might appear. But the defense is solid, and probably underrated. At least assuming that Eric Wright is coming out of his bizarre slump. He was a solid #1 corner last year, this year he's been getting picked on all season.

He hasn't been used that much until the last possession... it's the 4th quarter, with a 2 score lead over the defending Super Bowl champs. They just wanted to run the ball and keep Brees from getting it back; they took like 7 minutes off the clock.

Bowens comes up with his 2nd pick-six of the day.

Whatever it is Rob Ryan is dialing up... Brees has seems disoriented by our defense all day.

Saints have NO SHOT at the playoffs. Payton's offense, once again, has been solved.

Sell your houses and put every dime on the Steelers next week.

Last year's title is now proven to be illegitimate -- Minnesota was a much better squad.

They just need to recapture the fire they had last year, and I think it resides in Chase Daniel.Look, every player in the NFL was a star at some point in their lives. The talent level is extremely level. It's the fire, it's the toughness, it's the personality that lift "good" teams to being "great" teams.Drew had that fire last year, and it's out. I don't know if it was all the 60 minutes type interviews or all the dinners he MC'd, but he's just back to being the average NFL QB he was with San Diego.
