Week 7 Venting Thread (1 Viewer)

DeAngelo was on a roll on on their 2nd drive on once they get in scoring position (inside the 30) they bring in Stewart and start passing. I just really don't get this coaching staff.

Bradford TD.

Every single week, I out-yardage my opponent by like 280 yards, and yet every single guy who goes against me gets a TD from every one of his players.

Seriously, this thread is magical. Roddy White scores 2 minutes after I post this.

I offered a guy in my league Randy Moss and Ryan Torain for Roddy White.

He accepted the trade, however didn't log back on so the trade didn't go through as he didn't drop a player in time.

Now I'm facing this same guy, and I get to watch as Roddy White goes completely nuts in the first half scoring him 27 points.

Sigh....

Doesn't make you drop the player when you accept? That's odd.

had to find a bye week QB, and who'd have thought Fitzpatrick would have been the stud this week? Of course, my opponent has Evans....

Chris Johnson better shape it up in the second half or I'm not far from losing #4 in a row...

This is ridiculous, I've had QBs knocked out of games in multiple leagues this season and it happens YET AGAIN. Alex Smith knocked out after I lost Stafford week 1 and VY last week while losing to that CJ BS. Also playing one of the bottom 3 scoring teams who has the lowest high PF and his guys are blowing up. Had to start Tampa Mike over Nicks here too, so far that looks awful.

Carson Palmer now blowing up for my opponent, and Chris Johnson has disappeared. 4th week in a row I'm projected to beat my opponent by 15+ pts; trailing by 30 now...

Every single player on my team has fumbled the ball so far today after the Torain one.

Roddy...MWilliams...Torain...Oh wait, Matt Bryant hasn't fumbled yet.

Just wow.

This morning: "Well, Kerry Collins is in a QB and Britt is in the doghouse. I want to stay away from that situation! I'll start Shockey instead. Heck, they're playing the Browns!"

Regret

I hate Marques Colston!!! Rat B@sterd! Done nothing all season long and I finally bench your sorry behind and you decide to show up for once. TRRRRIBLE!!!

Thank you Eagles and Kolb for throwing an interception on the last play of the game when you can't catch up and allowing the Titans to return it for a score. Nothing like that extra TD and INT for my opponents defense to give him that added boost.

It's always interesting to see what marginal players will destroy my team each week. This week, it was Carson Palmer with 37 points. Just to add salt to the wound, he also started Terrell Owens...so I went from being up 20 to down 30 in a matter of a few minutes.

Week 4 Hightower = 0.8 pts

Week 5 Boldin = 0.8 pts

Week 6 Nicks = 0.8 pts

Week 7 Celek = 0.8 pts

What does it feel like to have every player on your team score at least 1 pt?

I started:

Roddy White

Chad Ochocinco

Hakeem Nicks

I did not start:

Kenny Britt

Could have had over 100 points from my WR's.

In my main $$ league i'm having the kind of year that makes you want to quit FF (ok, not really but it is frustrating). The average score for our league each week is 105 points. My team has scored an average of 109 over the first 6 weeks. It's not like it is a juggernaut, i'll give you that, but it's clearly not a bottom feeder either. Yet amazingly, my opponents have averaged 135 points this year! It's unreal, every week I face the team that goes off. Foster's monster week 1? Yep, faced him. Schaub's big week 2? You guessed it. Surely I didn't face Vick in week 3 when he lit it up? Um, yeah I did. Week 4 was the first week i didn't face a 40 player in our league's format, I merely faced 2 - 30 point players in Owens and Gates and then 3 more 20+ point players giving my opponent 175 points. This week my opponent came with 4 players scoring 20+ and 2 more hitting 15, 140 points and the high score for the week, of course. I've now faced the high scoring team 3 times and the 2nd high scoring team twice. Amazingly i'm 2-4 thanks to Best's monster week 2 and another fluke win. My points against are 812, only 1 team in our league has scored 700 points themselves (708) and no other team has 700 points against. It's a cruel joke, but i'm trying to be positive, it can't keep up right? This coming week my opponent has Peyton on a bye, DJax and Floyd likely out hurt and he already lost Finley. If he puts up 140+ on me I might just lose it. "Laughter and tears are both responses to frustration and exhaustion. I myself prefer to laugh, since there is less cleaning up to do afterward." -Vonnegut
That was last week's venting thread. So yeah, that guy I was playing, he started Ryan for Manning, Britt for DJax, and Steve Johnson for Floyd. Akers is his kicker. Long story short, his ####ign backups dropped 167 on me. This is truly unreal, i've never seen anything like this. He will be by FAR the highest scoring team this week and had almost none of his A team out there. 2-5 now and not looking promising for a playoff run. :wall:

Lets play the buzzsaw game. This week, its Darren McFadden. I have the best group of RBs in my league and about to drop to 3-4.

Was going to bench Philip Rivers since he was playing the Patriots, and I just had a feeling he might not do well (yes, homerism!). So far that has played out. I kept hearing the voice in my head "always start your starters!" so I left Rivers in and Matt Ryan on my bench.

Sea Williams out scoring my combo of Rivers, Gates, Lloyd and Prater in the afternoon games. I love fantasy football.

currently down by 20 with my Lynch going against his Mathews. REALLY need Lynch to score a couple here.....

I benched Lee Evans AND Kenny Britt :hot:

The good news is I'm still winning by a big margin thanks to Roddy White and Hines Ward.
