Good luck today, Dolphans. Should be a tough, heart-attack inducing game. I know Miami hasn't lost on the road this year, but the Ravens defend M&T pretty well and I have to imagine the D is embarrassed after the Buffalo debacle. Either outcome wouldn't surprise me, but....

20-16 Ravens

Miami's road record is impressive, but I would agree that Baltimore will probably win the game today. I hope that Henne and Bess perform well, I'm starting them this week for my dynasty team. My opponent has Flacco as his QB. I'm also cheering for a good game for Cameron Wake because he played 2 great seasons here for the BC Lions of the CFL.

McGahee scores a TD on a 23 yard screen pass play. Miami had some really shoddy pursuit on that play as McGahee weaved his way throu the defense after catching the pass.

Ok, I now believe that I can run up the middle on the Ravens for good yardage. Nice answer drive by Miami.

Dolphins finally punch one in after 10 FG's the last two weeks. Huge drive by Henne, Ronnie and the Phins Offense.

Ronnie Brown runs for a 12 yard TD. Game tied at 7-7. The Miami opening drive had quite a few run plays in which they were able to get some good yardage. Atleast 3 of them went for 10+ yards including the TD run. Henne passed it to Marshall to set them up in the redzone.

A 3-and-out and another quick Baltimore score could've made this a long day for the Dolphins. But they shoved it right down the Ratbirds' throat with a very impressive drive. Big holes for Ronnie Brown and a great catch by Marshall. Impressive.

Dolphins dont match up well with the Ravens. It seems like they just cannot stop Flacco and the Ravens passing attack

And who comes in? McGahee. I think we Rice owners just have to admit it- he's simply not an RB1. Wasted draft pick.

Was he a rb1 last year? McGahee was the inside the 20 back last year as well.
But the difference is they threw a lot of passes to Rice last year. This year they have Boldin, so Rice doesn't get as many receptions. It's what the naysayers predicted would happen, but I didn't listen to them.

The problem this year isn't the lack of red zone targets, since he didn't get them last year either. The problem this year is the lack of receptions. The Ravens are just going downfield too much for him to be effective in the passing game.

Baltimore absolutely blundered. After McGahee gets stuffed on first down, Flacco gets sacked twice, and then the snap for the field goal gets flubbed, Ravens get no points on the turnover and end up losing about 25 yards on the drive.

Big play for the Ravens D, bigger series by the Dolphins to keep them from scoring. That was as shoddy a series as you'll ever see after a first and goal at the 5. My word.

Big stop by the MIA DEF after the turnover. Balt started at the MIA 4 and the Phins got two sacks and the Ravens didnt even convert a FG on 4th down - all the while being pushed back 25 yards.

Stupid rules question regarding that Mason offensive pass interference. I'm not saying that this is the case there, but if a ball is ruled uncatchable do they still call offensive PI?

wtf are the ravens doing. can;t even get the offense off in time, multiple times. keeps going to their backup running back. so stupid.

Both RB's are getting enough touches in both the running and passing game. I can't tell who is the lead back and who is the backup, looks like RBBC to me.

Cameron Wake with three sacks/tackles for loss in the first half.

Guy is just incredible. What a player for the Dolphins. 8.5 sacks on the year to date and hes still getting better.

It was a sad day for the BC Lions in the CFL when he left, he had 20+ sack seasons in his two years here.

Did Boldin get nicked up or just no catches? Seems strange for him to go a whole half with nothing but obviously it seems both teams are trying their hardest not to score.

I think he's only been targeted once, failed to land in bounds on a potential TD pass. Mason has been targeted a lot more than Boldin, Heap also has a couple of catches.

The second down pass to Bess was a little high and he had to leave his feet to catch it. That allowed the Ravens defenders to come in and prevent the touchdown. If Henne makes a slightly better pass, that's an easy TD.

Thanks cdwood. Sometimes the gametracker doesn't tell the whole story.
No problem, I think it's why we have the game threads pinned here, to give those not watching the games a little bit more insight as to what is happening in the games, not to mention those that are watching a venue to share their thoughts as the games are played.

yeremiah bell only 1 tackle is he hobbled by his injury or just by circumstance on his 1 tackle

Both teams moving the ball so far, at least between the twenties. I haven't been impressed with Miami's tackling, as there have been frequent whiffs on Rice, McGahee and even Mason. But that hasn't been nearly as awful as Fabian Washington's alleged coverage. His second straight horrible game. Bess is beating him at will.

How is that not a flag? Henne was already well down on the ground from his slide and two ravens lowered their heads and dove into him. Horrible.

Did the rules change? I thought if you slid feet first the defense wasn't supposed to hit you, let alone lead with their helmet.

Ray Lewis is allowed to play by a different set of rules. I would've had no problem if he would've stopped and just fell on Henne, but he still delivered a hit.

Can't say I've been paying much attention to individual defensive players.
