He didn't need shots downfield in previous years. He's a big time YAC guy. But you wouldn't know it by the way MIA uses him.

Agreed. Marshall is an athletic freak, he just needs to catch the ball while he is moving. Doesn't have to be 30 yards down the field. THrow an accurate oass to him in stride, and he will pick up chunks of yardage.

Kyle Orton doesn't have a great arm and I'd see he usually got Marshall the ball 5-10 yards out last year. Just get that 6'4 freak some targets. My goodness is Henne atrocious.
 
Since I always seem to be stuck at work without a TV when the Dolphins play, can anyone explain to me why the hell they always target Brian Hartline instead of their instead of their enormously well paid pro bowl WR?

 
So Pennington gets like a $3 million escalator in his contract if he's named the starter for a single game and he throws 2 passes, 1 completion and is gone? What the heck happened to him?

I like HArtline and I understand that you take what you can get... but why throw that in the endzone to Hartline? that's the throw that they need to get to Marshall..no?

Pennington's agent is AWESOME apparently. Booyah. Doesn't matter if you earn it. Only matters if that money hits your bank account. Miami showing their smarts in all facets.

If Austin Collie can catch a pass, take three steps then fumble after being hit AND draw a penalty, no way that was a catch from Moss.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the rule now reads that if you let go of the ball within 24 hours after the reception, it's not a catch even if they finished the rest of the game assuming it was.
 
For those who are unaware, Chad Pennington lasted about 2 or 3 plays before injuring his shoulder attampting a pass while being tackled. Chad Henne came in to replace him

 
Randy Moss with a block to help get an extra 10 yards on a Chris Johnson run, but Vince Young just isn't even looking in his direction
