dealing with injuries/byes, picked Jax WR Mike Thomas off the waiver wire this week and started him. Woo hoo.

I'll add my Mike Thomas note as well. I drafted him and have had him sitting on my bench for the entire season, keeping him around because I knew he would be a consistent PPR option if I ever happened to need him. This week, I decided to put him in my starting lineup over Miles Austin (and eventually traded Austin away, even though the two were unrelated), and I am quite happy.

Finally a week that it all clicks. Both leagues high scorer of the week.

With Drew Brees on a bye I finally used my backup QB, Kyle Orton. 
Broke a 3 game losing streak and finally won to "improve" to 4-6. Good enough to move into a 3-way tie for first in my division!
