Week 11 "Waiver Wire" DST (1 Viewer)

So much risk here especially in leagues where you can end up with sizable negative points for your DEF.

I assembled KC, TB and ARI's DEFs for an eventual committee of two after week 10.

Fortunately, I started the only DEF of the three -- TB -- that was not a negative this week.

TB's DEF does not have a schedule as good as KC and ARI so I stubbornly dropped them today.

Very nervous right now but going with KC at home this week against ARI.

I believe I need to re-think this.

Clev. at Jax.Dal vs. Det.Oak at Pitt.Any thoughts
I like Dallas. Shaun Hill has very little zip on his throws. I could see multiple picks if Dallas actually tries. They might be primed for a letdown after last night's drubbing of the Giants.

The Raiders are the #4 Defense in my league, they are #3 in the NFL in sacks, and they travel to Pittsburgh who has 3 injured OL, and a QB who has a penchant for holding on to the ball too long.

this is true, although Cris Collinsworth will tell you during all 10 sacks of Ben how sacking him is like trying to tackle a refrigerator, he just won't go down...if they're available, Baltimore D at Carolina should be a good one to get

KC's D played terrible last weekend, but I think they will regroup this week and play much better at home this weekend. Arizona's QB position has a tendency to the turn the ball over so I'd stick with KC.

Thanks.I just noticed someone dropped SF's DEF.I will put in a claim and drop ARI's DEF if successful.

I'm looking to use the KC defense against Arizona (over the Jets). This is not based on the strength of KC but rather on the weakness of the Cardinals offense. Arizona's offense has 13 total TDs on the year. They also have less than 2375 total yards of offense (second only to Car with 2255). They've thrown 13 picks and lost 13 fumbles, tied with Car at 26 giveaways (worst in the league). Arizona's is also the worst in the league at 261 total points allowed, on the highest number of total defensive plays in the league at 630. Average KC DST against lousy ARI offense = good start.

BAL @ CAR is the best play if they are available.

KC vs. ARI is a good play. I'm sure that defense will get abused in practice this week after their performance against DEN.

CLE @ JAC is a good play with a nice upcoming schedule.

Any thoughts on Dolphins at home vs. Chicago?

Looks like the Bears are rolling after the debacle vs. the Skins but Miami does have a good secondary and some pass rushers.

I had the giants this past week and will probably drop them. They have a terrible schedule coming up for a defense.

Was thinking of picking up either Saints at home against seattle or

KC at home against Arizona

It seems like there are less truly pathetic offenses this year than in the past. Who are the no-brainer bad offenses to play a defense against besides Carolina and probably Arizona? Seattle on the road would work most of the time.

I know TEN is not on most waivers, but they havent been done much since week 7.

I am wondering if you guys think they will be good this week vs WAS or if it might be better to go with a KC, CLE, SF, Dal?

Yep. That's the first team that jumped out at me and the Fish should be available in many leagues.

That's really all there is. Chicago's been good to play against if Cutler starts throwing picks everywhere.

I dropped the Bucs and starting the Falcons against the Rams today.

I'll be rolling with the Falcons and 49ers D/ST throughout the playoffs (hopefully) in weeks 14-16.

Should just permanently put _________ vs Carolina as the first option :)

Nervous about playing the Jets vs Houston today but not enough to go shopping.

I grabbed MIA D and forgot to start them.. so I'm stuck with DAL vs DET... would love to have KC vs AZ.. as others stated pick the D playing the worst O... BAL (vs CAR) isn't on any WW I'd imagine.. AZ O is next worst and KC is on WW's (just not mine).

The Raiders D has been great but how big of a downgrade do they get now that Nmadi is inactive for this game? Still roll with them?
