I'll fully admit that I am an idiot. The game is blacked out in Cincinnati. Great, but I have Sunday NFL Ticket, but its blacked out on 706.

I thought the whole point was that it wont be blacked out with NFL Ticket. What am I missing?

i know when a game shows blacked out on the ticket that it means it is on the local channel instead, but that is in nc, not sure where you are.

No, its paid programming in Cincinnati. Hmm....

I thought the ticket is still blacked out within the blackout market. I don't have it myself, but a friend of mine's feed was blacked out when the Bills played Jacksonville at home earlier in the season. :lmao:

For you blacked out folks....Bengals march right down the field with a bunch of 3rd down conversions for a TD. Bills are blitzing like crazy.

Bills have picked up a few first downs of their own, albeit with some help. Fitz threw an INT that was reversed with a roughing the passer call.

Steve Johnson just broke a tackle and exploded across the field for a big gian for the Bills, followed up with a Fred Jackson run.

Roy Williams walked off the field and is now being tended to on the sideline.

Benson already has 55 yds rushing.
Huge, gaping holes every time he gets the ball. More the result of good blocking than anything.TO with a big grab down the sideline.
Reports of demise greatly exaggerated? Whole lotta wasted WW moves this week picking up Scott just because CB took a day off.
No idea. Benson doesn't look particularly great, but he doesn't look slow/hurt either. He just looks like an NFL RB with massive holes (ETA: holes, not holds - freudian slip?) every time they run it. Showed a nice burst of speed once he hit the LBs a few plays ago and nearly took it in for the TD before Whitner made a late tackle.

Hopefully someone picks up the game updates for the people in the blacked out market, because I'm not watching anymore unless the Bills start to come back.

Fitz to Stevie Johnson for a pretty back-of-the-endzone TD. Wow
What are your thoughts on Steve Johnson? Stud in the future in any system or just having one of those years?
To be honest, in the Steve Johnson thread a few weeks ago, I thought that he was going to be an inconsistent, average NFL WR. My projection was a hit-or-miss career, maybe 800 yard seasons here and there. These last few weeks have really opened my eyes. He was so inconsistent for so long, I didn't think he'd get past it. But he's really proving me wrong right now.3rd TD for him.

Kinda wish we didn't have TO last year so we could have seen this a year earlier.

He's young and there's no question he's performing like you'd expect from a guy who's finally breaking out now that he's been given the opportunity. I've never been overly impressed and figured him for a role-player (kind of like a Josh Reed, only not necessarily a slot receiver), but I can't argue with the on-field results.

Think about this for a moment:

Fitzpatrick having a pretty decent year

the Bills now being competitive and putting up points

perhaps sliding out of a top 2-3 pick

an apparently deep DL draft

Luck to Buffalo is no longer a given...

:goodposting: exactly what I was getting at. Never been in love with his speed, hands, etc....he's always just seemed average to me....but the results have been superb. Maybe he's just coming into his own as an NFL receiver...you don't need the measurables necessarily if you have the right intangibles.

I just heard - and this is third-hand knowledge - that the Bills front office isn't really considering any QBs. Heard it from someone who works in the Bills offices and overheard Nix talking about it.Who knows what that means....just indicates to me that the Bills might not be as set on a QB as we are.

My thinking as well, it will be one of the most scrutenized picks in Bills history, they better hit.

I would really like the Bills to take a QB if possible, but Fitz has played well enough that I wouldn't mind having him hold down this position for another season if it came to that. We have so many other holes besides just QB that this could be a viable approach.
