Week 11 Venting Thread (1 Viewer)

looks like Garrard has been screwed up and back to his horrid ways since he got clubbed in the head in the second quarter..

at some point I have to believe JDR & comp will realize they can't continually try and live with his erratic play..

6 TO's and still within one score is amazing in itself..

...certainly damages efforts to try and keep people in the stands when you stay mired in mediocrity..

Screw the Vikings for rendering AP irrelevant today.

Screw the Texans lousy D for doing the same thing to Arian Foster

Screw Mark Sanchez for forgetting about Dustin Keller

Damn Roethlisberger is killing me today. His sister said he told him they would run a lot, so I thought I would survive against him. Nope. Screw you Bruce Arians!

Also, my opponent starts Keiland Williams, who sits...until Portis reinjures himself. Great.

Foster? TD

Burleson? TD

Watching the team i drafted for,,,just royally #### up, start the wrong people & hardly do jack on the waiver wire...

he started stevie johnson finally....last week....even though he had him for 7 weeks on his roster.

I subbed out Ray Lewis (35 pts)for Derrick Johnson (3 pts) literally minutes before kickoff. This is first week Lewis hasn't started for me.

officially benching mcgahee for the rest of the season unless Rice gets injured. I'm down by 2 because of him

R Moss = DUD

T. Jones for 2tds versus J Charles 0 tds

S. Holmes for going off and getting a td with .06 left

Fugly week!

FIXEDI forgot to plug in Jennings, Collie and James Jones. Got there at noon seconds too late.

I don't care if it was poor playcalling or not, I still despise Bruce Arians....give Mendy the damn ball you ingrate!!!

being a Jamal Charles owner must be the most frustrating thing this year....knowing how good he is and not getting enough playtime to make him a superstud is killing me....

This week, I started Randy over Santana because the Skins have not done well on good WR's this year. Calvin tore them up, DJax, AJ....

Santana got 21 points in my league, Randy zero.

Ugh.

Oi... I have stuck with the SF defense all season so far, and my team is doing well, though not (obviously) because of them. I think I'm about done with the SF defense.

*Put in Moss over Tampa Mike and Green Ellis.

*Put in Branch over TJ Ward. Ward proceeds to grab his 1st 2 career interceptions while I get 1 solo tackle from Branch.

At least I got 10 tackles, 1 int, 1 pd, and a TD from Ray Lewis!

eff'n pos garbage td's to fred jackson and fitzgerald (last freakin play of the game down 20+ pts)...and then peyton throw it every down manning goes off while playing like trash. garret hartly has a botched snap on an extra point and misses a gimmie :bs:

i'm playing the team i'm tied with for the league lead, and i still might win, but i'm gonna need a game from mccoy and whoever the chargers start at te when it was looking like a walk with just minutes to go in the early games.

Opponent scores the most pts in a single game in the 16 year history of my league. I faced Brees/MJD/Johnson/Colston/Jennings/Cundiff/Pitt.

And this was a 1 vs 2 battle in a 16 team league where we have no playoffs. This one stings.

All week had Steve Johnson starting over AJ. Saw on the weather report winds were pretty bad in Cinci and switched to AJ literally 1 minute before Lineups were locked......gonna lose this week unless Vick has a 2nd half like last week's first half......

Seeing Charles get the ball down to the 1 yd line twice and watching Jones come in and get the TD's is a punch in the gut

I am getting so sick of these Sunday and Monday night games where everything seems to be going ok, until my player doesn't do anything...and my opponents player starts to go off. I can already see it beginning in this game, just as it has in so many before.

I was up by 35 points coming into tonight's game with Ahmad Bradshaw and Kyle Orton tomorrow. My opponent has Jeremy Maclin tonight and Brandon Lloyd tomorrow.

It's the type of scenario I have seen at least 4-5 times this season...and it's yet to work out for me. Ahmad Bradshaw HAS to do something in the second half, right??

It also doesn't help that I had people on my team score 0 points (Dan Carpenter and Ben Watson)...and Bradshaw is scoreless through a half. Thank God for Greg Jennings, Ray Rice, and Santonio Holmes. as their games have gotten me the big lead.

Anquan Boldin.......9 yards. NINE FREAKING YARDS!!!!! Dude is killing me this year with his 20 pts one week, then literally 1 or 2 pts the next. I'd almost rather him just score 7 every single week and never see him explode

Ugh. Played against Jennings. still in the game but need a 4th quarter miracle here.

Thx Z Miller, Bradshaw, Andre, & Nicks. Also not a fan of Charles getting taken down at the 1 or Brees throwing a meaningless INT at the end of the game (tho I would have taken a meaningless TD).

Thx TeamSnooki for cutting Folk for Succop. Couldn't have used those few pts.

One target for Aaron Hernandez after zero points last week. Thankfully, it was for a TD.

He's gonzo for me. Time to pick up Pettigrew until Gates is healthy again.

I'd like to had a few more vents to my previous post...

1. I absolutely loathe the TE position this season. I drafted Heath Miller, who was a complete travesty, so I picked up Ben Watson. He was good for a week or two, but I always seemed to play him on his worst weeks. I finally decided to overpay for Jason Witten, just to get a little bit of stability at the position...in the first week I had him, he got me 1.5 points. I benched him this week for Watson, based on his solid performance last week....and Watson didn't have a single catch today. I honestly have no clue where to go with this position, as I've scored less than 5 points every single week this year.

2. I thought I made a good trade when I got Ahmad Bradshaw in a trade for Jahvid Best (I did get Santonio Holmes as well in the deal, and he was great today). In week one following the trade, Jahvid Best had one of his worst weeks of the year...and he still did better than Ahmad Bradshaw has done for me.

3. Hines Ward. I thought I was getting a steal when I grabbed him in the 7th round as my fourth wide receiver, but he's been horrible for me all year. I benched Mike Williams (Sea) for him today because of the New Orleans Saints pass defense ranking. Now, with the word of Williams' possibly being injured, I may be stuck starting him again, unless I decide to roll the dice with Danny Woodhead.

4. Legarrette Blount. This isn't as much a vent, but a post of disappointment. He is definitely a great young RB, and he is extremely exciting to watch. With that said, his lack of involvement in the passing game has him stuck on my bench, even though I would love to be able to use him on my team. In a PPR, he is just not putting up enough numbers to help me.

Avant's dropped TD pass that hit him in the hands...while he was sitting by himself in the end zone.... will likely cost me a win.

A corpse literally could have caught it.

Scored 159.9 this week. 5 weeks this year that would be the high score for the week. My opponent has 159.13 with Gates or McMichael still to go.

I'm now the highest scoring team in the league and I'm 5-6 and in either 6th or 7th place. :banned:

Any chance they find 4 more passing yards for Peyton? We get 10 bonus points at 400 yards. My only hope this week. Unless SD doesn't throw a pass to their TE this week.

Once again I play a team that scores 45% over their weekly average and I lose - this is f'n comical....I have the most points score and the most points scored against by a huge margin - and I am fighting for the last playoff spot......

At least you are still fighting. I am out, 7 loses and 6 were to the #1 team in pts.

I am sick and damn tired of having to hold my breath and pray to the FF gods that one of my guys scores double to make up for someone else getting 2 freaking points...I'd give anything for that one magical week where everyone on my team has a good day all at once.

Meanwhile my opponent has that week, as every single player of his scored at least 8 pts over their projection.

Lost by 9 points. Drew Brees could have had 12 more points but instead he lost 4 points because of two interceptions in the end zone. One of them on the next to last play of the game when they're up by 15 points. Also it didn't help that my opponent had Steve Johnson who got about 20 points just in the 4th quarter.

The one good thing is that last field goal by Akers gave my division rival a 96 to 95 loss. We now have a four way tie for our division lead at 4-7. That's right, four of the five worst teams in our 12 team league are in the same division. Next three weeks are division games where I'm 2-1 and also have the most total points of the four teams. If I win two I should be good on the tie breaker unless I lose to the team that already beat me.

Eli Manning is the biggest piece of football junk ever. I was up by just over a point (ints in the league are -2 and fumbles are -1) with less than four minutes left dreading the usual late-fourth quarter turnover that Manning always delivers. Then he only fumbled it away instead of throwing the interception and I was celebrating my lead being preserved by the slightest of margins. But right away I began worrying that the Giants could get the ball back, and any time is enough time for Eli to turn it over again. When the Eagles kicked the field goal with 22 seconds remaining, I was resigned to my fate. Eli was going to screw me again. Sure enough ... I lost by .24 points, the second time this season I've lost by fewer than .25 of a point, and both times Eli turned the ball over in the final minutes. Oh, and I had Ben Roethlisberger on my bench. I can't remember the last time I started the right one, if I ever have.

I was down by 3 points heading into Sunday night football with Ahmad Bradshaw to go. No worries whatsoever. My other league I was down 10 points with Nicks and Bradshaw to go, no worries again. Bradshaw puts up an absolute dud of 1.4 points and Nicks only gets 7.2 points. I lose both games I couldn't afford to lose :P

almost the exact same for me. I still have SD Def and Gaffney tonight but I m down by 29, hes done, I doubt I can recover

I have a dominant squad, but the season feels like it might be slipping away with injuries. First Gates and now Nicks is out 3 weeks. Sure hope this doesnt linger into playoffs. :meh:
