Game Thread W11 - New York Giants V Philadelphia (1 Viewer)

I need for Vick to get a bad tummy or something, and for Tynes to go off, and for DJax to stub his pinky toe. I am up by 12. I am pretty sure I may lose this one...lol.

 
I see Philly winning this one by a decent margin. 7-10 points. All bets off if Vick is knocked out of the game though. :goodposting: And the Giants have knocked a few out this year... :lmao:

 
Ok we can see that that play isn't working. Who scripted that crap?

i can't believe they actually gave manningham that catch. he clearly dropped it before he possessed it. that could be a huge 1 point swing.

That was the design - friggin sucks because they got the coverage they wanted, he should be able to juke a LB for 2 extra yards, and he falls down.

Plays that are designed to come up short on 3rd down are destined to fail. Take it from Jerry Rice, the greatest route runner of all time, you run your route on 3rd down to the 1st down marker and leave nothing to chance.I saw Manningham 2 times minimum come up short on 3rd downs against Dallas, now one here....by design.I like that the Giants are at least hitting Vick, make him earn everything he gets. The Giants offense haven't showed up as of yet, I hope the D doesn't give up.
 
Come on dude, the DE doesn't keep contain? Do you know how many times the defensive coaches during the course of the week must have talked about how important it is to keep contain. That is your job as DE, keep contain.

I wrote in the Giants team thread early this week that you need a spy on Vick for the entire game, not just inside the 5. I'm not so sure it would have helped there anyway as he broke contain. A spy isn't chasing him down from that angle for less than 5 yards, once he got outside contain it was over.
