Rolling with Fitz today. I expect Minny to run AP all over Buff. Fitz will throw from behind. Should be good FF stats.

What did Favre do? I just flipped over and saw him getting looked at.
Drilled from behind on rollout. He rolled out to the right and moved up towards the line of scrimmage, then stopped short of the LOS and started to move back some when he got hit.

Bills are blitzing the #### out of Jackson. Jackson finds Rice on a nice deep ball, and the Bills send Poz and Moats on the next play for the sack.

Then they inexplicably stop and rush 3 on 3rd and 10. Jackson has all the time in the world and throws the ball about 10 yards over the receiver's head out of bounds.

That kind of throw demonstrates why TJax isn't a viable long term option for the Vikes.

How is that not an incomplete pass? Looks like the arm was coming forward to me....and the ball went barely forward/not backward or lateral. I guess we'll have to see the replay, the Bills will challenge.

Fitz was hit by Jared Allen as he released the ball....ruled a fumble, recovered by Antoine Winfield inside the Bills 15.

Refs overturned it. Obviously I'm a bit biased, but I think it's a good call.Favre back warming up on the sideline.ETA - and now he's going to the locker room.

If anything, this will quiet all the folks that wanted Tarvaris instead of Farve. Now they'll just clamor for Joe Webb :wall: :loco: Not gonna love on Farve, but there is a reason he's been the starter, and it isn't his stature as a veteran.

That's right, now everyone will see why they wanted Farve so bad at the beginning of the season.
Losing with Favre is more triumphant than losing with Jackson? This is meaningless of course, since the Vikes still had Rosenfels in September, and the three fools went to Favreland weeks earlier.

:wall: Please tell me what Sage Rosenfels offers as a starter to an NFL team? Super not-smart post.

McKelvin fumbles the kickoff. Something he's really gotta work on...he fumbled a punt in OT last week, fumbled away a game against NE last year on a kickoff....

:wall:

Jackson looked fine on that drive...although Rice did some great work.
I'm hoping my earlier post is completely misplaced and wrong, and that Tarvaris is a quality option. Just not holding my breath.Don't have the game here, so can see what's going on. Hopefully Tarvaris is just a bit rusty and once that shakes off he'll be fine.

Funny how all forget GB was 13-3 in favre's denouement there. Jets super bowl bound (NY HYPE!!!) until he got injured mid-season. Vikes go to OT in NFC title game last year...

I'd kiss his butt to get him back too?

Anybody wanna bet against him doing the Earl Morrall/Vinny T thing next year?

He moved em right down the field for the TD. The TD pass wasn't that great, but Rice made a great play. This doesn't bode well for the Bills....the more the Vikes move the ball in the air, the more the Bills will play the pass, which will leave gaping holes for AP and Gerhart.

I think if nothing else, people will realize how much the Vikings have been missing Rice for the first half of the season.
