this is a real life mystery folks so hang on to ur hats!!! Mike w originaly scored 5 rec for 59 yds. an hour or so ago they changed it to 6 for 68! Different sites hav different numbers. nfl.com play by play accounts for 6 68. espn box score says 6 68 but the play by play shows 5 59!!!! Mike w blurb on cbs says 5 59 but his stats say 6 68!!!! this is insane and first in my division is at stake for me! What the hell happened! i need to go thru the entire game and account for all the catches. I know sammie stroughter is credited with the mystery 9 yd catch in places and their numbers are easily mistaken so whats the deal!!!

In my RTSports league, the opposite happened. I noticed during the game that Williams' points went from 18 to 16, taking away the 9 yard catch. RTSports still has it at 5/59. Where all of the play-by-plays that I've looked at credit the catch to Stroughter, it seems like some sites just didn't update the box score to 5/59 after a correction in the play-by-play was made. That's just a guess.

Whatever is decided to be the "official" stats, all site will eventually pick it up. Usually official stat corrections come out Thursday morning, but this seems to be an unusual case and will probably be changed some time today. You can email Yahoo and let them know about the problem, though I bet plenty of people already have.Edit: I forgot to throw in a few ! ! ! for the OP.

he had 59 & 1 td. I'm sure all sites will eventually bu updated correctly. If not, you can always ask your commish to go in and change it manually. Stinks for Stroughter that was a great catch he isn't getting credit for..

I lost 165 to 164 because of the change on sportsline, I went to bed with a win and woke up with a loss. I would have finished first in our league with most ponits, now I'm in third with most points. 
I watched the game and the actual play in question as it happened. The play by play and box score originally credited Stroughter (I think) for a 9 yard catch that M. Williams actually did make.68 and 1 TD is correct for M. Williams.
I was watching on my laptop so not the greatest picture and M. Williams and Stroughter are easy to mix up on the field (#19 vs. #18), but it looked like a M. Williams catch to me as well...The commentators said M. Williams, while Yahoo Stat Tracker gave it to Stroughter...

On Yahoo, still showing as 5-59. I clinched a Yahoo playoff spot by 2.5 points in my PPR. Williams gets 2.0 in my league for an additional catch for 10 yards...made it by the hair of my chinny-chin-chin.
