Week 15 Venting Thread (1 Viewer)

I decided to keep Dwayne Bowe in and have Stevie Johnson on the bench. Also, I kept Steven Jackson in instead of putting in LeGarrette Blount.

Starting Lineup - Vick, Foster, SJax, PHillis, Wayne, Colston...dang Dallas defense has outscored 'em for the most part! UGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH :goodposting: :wall: :wall: :rant: :rant: :rant: :rant:

 
Picked up Grossman to start for Orton. Then cut him. Also had Anthony Armstrong penciled in at WR, but benched him for Brandon Gibson. FML

 
Opponent started both V-Jax AND Vick this week. Was actually hanging close, until Vick scored about 15 by himself on that last drive :P

 
In a season where I lead the league in pts. against by a wide margin, it continued this week... I faced Eli, Ray Rice, Collie & Calvin.

 
Really glad I went with Campbell over Flacco after a couple of hot weeks on my bench. :loco:

(although the Vick/VJax combo in my opponent's lineup has rendered most of my decisions this week moot)

 
Close but no cigar...opponent had Calvin Johnson (25 pts), Santana Moss (27 pts), Vincent Jackson (34 pts), Ray Rice (40 pts), and Chris Cooley (19 pts).

Like to vent about Vick...does he hurt McCoy's value on the field? 11 pts out of my starting RB just doesn't cut it in the playoffs!

 
Starting TO is going to cost me big time. I need both Forte and Woodhead to score less than 17 in a PPR league. Highly unlikely.

 
Starting RBs=Foster, Moreno, and Turner.

All three have been feasting for a month and died on ome today. Geez.

 
My two RBs (Moreno and Foster) AND my TE (Owen Daniels) got me less than my kicker (Janikowski).

A big heartfelt thanks to Janikowski. I knew I could count of YOU!

Same combo i had. Also throw in Reggie Wayne and Tamme against his witten and manningfrigginham and I get booted as the #1 seed. This guy hasnt topped 136 all year and he has over 140 right now with woodhead and the viking D still to go.

I feel for ya. You see it all the time. A #1 team that led the league in scoring gets punted out after their bye week (which is usually also a week their team would have scored high). I guess FF really IS a lot more luck than I ever was willing to aknowledge.

My average score this year was 150 with my lowest score at 121 in week 3. I have 111 with brady left to play. Remarkable.... :popcorn:
 
I never had a team to hate until now. Scroo You NY Football Giants. I hate every last one of you. They play 4 quarters in football nowadays. Not 2, not 3, but 4. You suck and may you all rot in the deepest bowels of hell.

I do however still like puppies and unicorns.

 
Not 1 TD from this group in my semi final game and besides CJ not much yardage either! Who would of thought it??

Hey, it's 1st and Goal on the 1 yd line. Let's quick throw a TD (to Jennings who I'm playing against) so we can give the ball back to Tom Brady w/ 2 minutes left!!

 
wow... last guys in and i'm up the whole day and going into the last drive of GB/NE game I'm up by 6 and the sack and then sack fumble of Flynn in the last minute gave my opponent 7 points gave me a loss by 1 point.

 
Where should I begin....Dropped Aaron Hernandez and Picked up Owen Daniels, Played Bowe and sat Britt and also had Blounte on my bench while Foster put up 5 points for me. I really killed myself this week, but on the same hand played Flacco instead of Flynn or Kitna had Rodgers knocked out last week obviously. It was the worst week for my team to play. Had a bye last week and had DeSean Jackson tear it up. Then this week was a complete disaster for me.

 
The week started off brilliantly when I decided not to play Vincent Jackson(I was playing the Rivers owner) Then today the killer both Foster and McCoy put up scraps and I lost my game to the wild card team by two points. My team had been dominant this year too , 4 more games won than the rest of the league. Just call me the fantasy version of the Indianapolis Colts or better yet San Deigo Chargers, King of the regular season thats me.

33+ (depending on CHI DST) point deficit to overcome in a 2 week combined playoff Championship.

Last week I started Maclin (2 pts) and sat Welker (19 pts)

Marshall also on my bench this week (27 pts)

Blount on my bench (17 pts)

Moreno in my line up (1.6 pts)

I'm in the same boat, I think...(dynasty) Regular season record: 12-1

First round playoff bye....

Started Peyton Hillis and Darren McFadden at RB, with Calvin, Roddy, Miles at WR...

Left Ray Rice (50+ pts) and Kenny Britt on the bench...

I had Ray Rice in and out of my lineup 4 time last night when setting my lineups. My gut said "start him", but I went with who has gotten me here.

I will lose by whatever his two DL's put up tomorrow night (typically ~6-8 pts/each)... :unsure:

Went 12-1 in regular season - 12 straight wins after losing week 1.

Had Vick. Put up 142 points - a total only achieved 8 times all season in the 14 team league. Three of those times was by me.

And yes, you know it. I lost. By 3 points, which I would have overcome by playing Santana Moss over Tashard Choice. Stupid last minute change thanks to some advice from Sigmund Bloom. I hate Twitter. Without it I would have never have asked him, and probably left Moss in! Not blaming Sigmund by the way, my own stupid fault, and the advice was sound...

So yes, well played my opponent, who had Eli and Rice as main contributors. Indeed if he had started Manningham and Collie at WR I would have lost by a lot more, so I shouldn't really moan about my Choice choice.

Just feel raw that I didn't make it through to the final after a season, and indeed a week, like that!

Was a head by 2 points till the last play of the Pats/GB game.. when a sack then fumble causes me to lose by 1 and out of the playoffs..... Sucks to be me.
