Game Thread W16 - NY Giants V Green Bay (1 Viewer)

Looks like Packers will have this one as Giants are really flat. Do the Bears have anything to play for next week vs Pack?

Brilliant strategy by the Giants.

If going up by a lot of points last week lead to a loss, why not go down by a lot of points this week and thus, get the win.

Woodson shouldn't covering anyone man-on-man anymore, especially a guy like Nicks.

Fall down with no one behind, that's what happens.

Giants havent stopped a 3rd down in ages. God their dbacks are bad
Yup. I think it' definitely a solid move to judge the quality of a team of players based on a quarter and half of football.

Hard to miss with snap judgements I always say.

Edit to add:

On a similar note, looks like all Nelson does is get TDs and fumble.

I hear ya, but let me vent a bit. Truth is if Tuck and Osi arent in the qb's face the secondary is very poor

A good pass rush always helps a secondary, but I disagree about the Giants secondary.Webster, Thomas and Ross are a solid top 3 cornerbacks and Phillips, Rolle and Grant are a very good top three safeties.

I'm all for protecting the players, but it wasn't a violent hit or anything. Just tackled through Driver to the ground. What the #### is wrong with that?

I think he was flagged for slapping Driver in the face. I don't agree with it, but I'm pretty sure that is what they called

GB shouldnt even run until Gmen can show they can stop the pass. So far each reception has gone to a wide open receiver

Seriously? You didnt see him stick his shoulder into is face after the play was over and Driver was still on the ground? Then he smacked him in the headTake off the blinders, it was quite obvious

Rodgers looks great, just shredding the Giants' D. As long as GB holds on to the football, can't see how they lose this one. The big broken plays won't continue for Manning.
