how was that a TD but they've defended the Megatron turnover like their lives depended on it since last year? what the hell?

Hernandez continues to disappoint doubters with a very nice TD grab with bob sanders all over him.
The NFL continues to disappoint by giving him that catch when it was less of a reception than Calvin Johnson's that they took away last year.

Thought it was a catch. Had possesion laying on back in endzone. Sanders then knocked it out of hands. Catch.

Hernandez TD should not have counted. Didn't complete the catch.
He did complete it, actually....landed with full possession (or shared possession with the DB, which is enough) and then Sanders stripped the ball out after he was on the ground. That's a TD by rule

Of course Calvin caught the ball landed on his back stood up and let the ball drop and it was no good.It really depends on the uniform as to how long you have to have possession.

Of coarse it was a catch. He caught it and was laying down on the ground for a few seconds before it was knocked out. How long does he have to hold it ? Do you want him to take the ball to the bench with him ?

It was ruled last year that Megatron should have had dinner with the ball before letting go of it.I'd like the rules to be interpreted equally among all 32 teams, that's all.Silly me.

The best that I've noticed about the no huddle, aside from the mismatches that everyone talks about, is the ridiculous amount of time Brady has to throw.

:goodposting: and it was a few tenths of a second on his back....clearly less of a possession than Calvin had last year that started all this nonsense. If Calvin's wasn't a catch, that shouldn't have been. and I have Hernandez starting, so i'm not whining about the score....just annoyed at how inconsistent rules are applied in the NFL, and it's always to the benefit of the Pats somehow.

By rule the receiver has to maintain possession throughout the entire process of the catch. He clearly didn't.

The chargers are faking injuries every other play to slow down the no huddle, and it leads to a stop on the pats second drive (a made field goal, but on a good looking drive deep in the red zone).

Patriots called for roughing the passer on a throwaway and gronk got nabbed on a ticky tack holding call earlier, while the chargers went at bradys knee on an early play and twisted it after he had gotten rid of the ball, but no call there. You guys can keep whining about calls now.

Tolbert is without question the best RB in SD. He just literally lowered his pad level to the ground to break a tackle.

Looks like the Pats are going to be fun to watch this year. Nobody can stop them, and they can't stop anyone. Should be lots of fantasy points.

I understand Tolbert got you 3 TDs last week, but Matthews is the one that got you from the 5 to the 1....he should be in there.
