Week 3 Venting Thread (1 Viewer)

traded welker for gates on draft day. dropped gronk for hernandez as well. small roster league.

but yet i still continue to play this game....

 
Round 1 Pick - J. Charles

Round 4 Pick - Peyton (before the big news about missing majority/all of season)

Round 5 Pick - Britt (looked GREAT until today - knee looked bad)

I have no hope anymore.

Played Cam Newton over Aaron Rodgers. I have Felix Jones and Kenny Britt. My opponent has Wes Welker and Calvin Johnson with Ray Rice and Marshawn Lynch yet to play. I'm getting smoked!
 
I know it isn't specifically Week 3, but ESPECIALLY after today:

Stupidly drafting Witten over Welker in the 4th round of a PPR league when Graham ended up going in the 10th and only having Marshall and VJax at WR right now (Amendola as well). I always heard to draft a stud TE in a PPR league... frick

Cant name 10 WRs I would take over Welker in PPR leagues ever.On topic: Chris Johnson :thumbdown:
 
had LT in for SJax figuring some points were better than none...then Vick goes out and i see the news that SJax is good to go so i put him in and bench LT 5 minutes before kickoff. then LT gets 92 yards and a td in the first few minutes of the game. I love this game. :wall: :wall: :wall:

 
Gore and D Jackson have been a friction joke this year. Not to mention Brady's four picks. It sucks to be my team this year.

I celebrated my FF Teams first FG on the Season!

While I'm in the throes of jubilation over this milestone, Darren McFadden rips off a 70 yd TD for my opponent.

I HATE Fantasy Football.

 
Why on God's green earth would Blount not even be on the field for red zone and goal line plays?????? :confused:

Lance Kendricks.

That didn't look so terrible this morning. Good odds there.

Kendricks was the big worry, but had to put him in for Gates.

 
James Starks needed to step up since Wells was out and I wasn't sure about Felix Jones. I get a whopping one point from him.

Since Gates was out I started Cook. That dude has sucked so far in 3 games.

Oh, and if I lose my game by less than 6 points that Sanchez non TD at the end is going to haunt me. I know he didn't score, but man that would make me feel better. I'm only up by 13 and my opponent has Wayne left tonight.

 
Started Deion Branch in one of my leagues today. Good lord, did he even get any balls his way today? 0's across the board. Was looking for a stat line where I could see attempts, was wondering if I should start looking for him on injury reports or something. :confused:

I started he and CJ whom I was "lucky" to have fall to me at seven spot in the draft...oyAt this point, I would like someone to make a spoof video of Munchak behind CJ with a horse's whip in his hand. Fake or not, it'd be therapeutic
 
Vick, Britt, and Marshall completely let me down and two of the three suffer serious injuries. Add to that Aaron Hernandez and I'm looking at 1-2 and my opponent has GONE OFF all three weeks!

Now have to figure out what to do with Vick and Britt's injuries. Oh yeah, Feline is on this team too!

0-3 and really dont see it getting better. No Mike Vicks on the WW this year. Gonna be a loooong season for me.

Yeah, started him in the same league where I have Branch (Was a long Sunday). Anyways, we're three weeks in, and he's looking, well, not good performance wise. 148 Rushing and 1 TD in 3 weeks. And now might be injured (Thank god I have Hunter already). I understand the line and QB situations are pretty bleak. Is Frank going to be the anchor into the league basement for teams in 2011 (since he's a 2nd round pick in 12 man snake leagues and about $30-40 in auction leagues)? I feel like that could potentially be the case, nothing indicates to me he's going to skyrocket into your normal un-injured Frank Gore performance-wise any time soon.

MWTB was likely taken under the expectation he'd be a high-end WR2. Seems barely WR3 worthy right now. Seriously considering replacing him in my lineup w/ Denarius Moore or Nate Washington.

 
I drafted Mendenhall when McFadden was available and drafted Big Ben when Stafford was available. Both were next in line on my respective RB and QB lists.

How can you vent before a game is even at halftime?

Mendenhall is the bane of my fantasy existence. So overrated.

 
I'm right there with you buddy. I too have Beanie, Mendy, and Holmes. I had Jamal Charles as my 1st round pick.

Been playing FF for about 7 years and this is my worst team EVAH! :angry:
