I think I try a sweep or something w/ Rice to the outside at some point there. Pitt was obviously taking away the middle (big time)

 
you could hear the whistle blow when he was still short of the goal line -- clearly blew it too soon.

I wanted it too, but the fact is he ran into his blocker and then Pitt stacked him up until the whistle blew. Only Ben would have been given that call. He can get tackled at the 10, army crawl into the end zone and get a TD out of it, but not Rice.
 
Did refs blow the whistle that quickly when it was Jim Brown running the ball? Or Christian Okoye? Or Pete Johnson?

Horrible effort by the zebras so far.

 
What a terrible play call that pitch was. Just ugly all the way around, even if Webb doesn't get off that block he's dead. You need a yard, don't run something laterally 5 yards first before you head up field.

Apparently the bad Bruce Arians showed up this week.

Wouldn't have mattered. It was a stupid play call.These 30 yard completions on lollipop throws on 3rd down need to stop, Steelers.

Late to the party...I figured my first quote would be someone criticizing the toss sweep to Mendy call on 3rd&1 and agreeing with them, but instead it the first post...Youre nuts, the throwbacks are awesome. I like them more than are regular uniforms.Among other, after seeing them last week, the Rams should def go back to their throwbacks. Not only do their new unis suck, but those ones are great
