Every time I go over to NFL.com to check this game Cam is getting sacked. Bad protection, or bad awareness/good coverage?

.A little of everything. Through 3 quarters, the Titans have played a tight man to man on the receivers and have gotten great penetration on Newton at the same time. At times Cam has escaped this by targeting the tight end, but Olsen has been just awful, missing a couple of wide open passes. It's just not Newton's day-so far. (It's getting late, though).

The other news is that MAYBE, MAYBE, Chris Johnson is coming out of his season long slump. Still no endzone, but he broke off a 16 yard run followed by a 13 yard run. 86 yards on the ground, and 40 yards in receptions.

25 yard 4th quarter run brings him to 111 on the ground. He's finally getting some yardage points for his owners, at least. A long TD would really make me feel good today.

I didn't watch the game but judging from the game center play-by-play Tenn did a concerted effort of getting him the ball both on the ground and through the air. Nice to see that and also that he responded. It's against Car but at this point I will take what I can get from him.

Now of course, the question becomes, is he safe to start? We'll just have to wait and see. But IF this is the beginning of something special, and IF you were patient and held onto this guy, the FF playoff schedule (NO, Indy, Jacksonville) looks very sweet.
