Depending on the team drafting him I'd consider Trent Richardson.
 Who would have to draft him to make him a better start than LeSean McCoy in a PPR league? This should be interesting.

I could see him at the end of the first if he ended up in Denver. Or mayyybe Cleveland or Cincy. Otherwise, he'd probably have to go to a team like Minnesota and have Peterson get hit by a bus.

Peterson or Murray. Will e funny to see how far Fred falls in all of this.
Fred Jackson is having an amazing season. But, I think we forget in the midst of it that he's 30. I think his performance leading into and during FF playoff time will dictate if he's in the Top 10 of RB's next year from where I sit. I don't wish bad things on the guy or anything, but I think if he wears down he'll be drafted around RB2 status at 31 next season.

Although he is in his 30's a couple things must be considered: he doesn't have "Clinton Portis" tread on his tires. There's really no one behind him ready to take over. Spiller has been kind of a disaster. His floor is mid range RB2, the level he produced at previous to this year- his break out. So although I think it's insane to take him as RB2- in the top 12 is certainly about right.

Yeah I agree on the "tread" part. I'm just hesitant of taking someone like FJax around Round 2 at 31. Ageism, I guess. Maybe I just need to get over that and put him on the 2012 radar. Like I said, if he holds up throughout the rest of the regular season, I think he's a slam dunk Top 10 in 2012 for RB's. There's no doubting the talent at this point, I just want to see the durability.I got Hillis'ed this year in Round 3 thinking I got a steal (PTTS), so I'm gunshy on breakout guys the next year around the bend too.

Hillis is a different animal though. You're talking about a contact seeking RB who has never put up anything close to the numbers he did last year, who clearly wore down as the year went on... Fjax had a couple years of decent rb2 production under his belt. Always been a durable back. Evaluate every player on an individual basis!

The way that his owners held onto him , after he was injured, I would say Jamaal Charles.
With catastrophic knee injuries it usually takes better than an entire calendar year to get back to 100%- if at all. That's not a #2 over all pick to me.
My post was made tongue-in-cheek.
I get it now. My awareness is somewhat lessened at the moment, as I've mentioned in other posts.

Aaron Rodgers. This is so easy it seems that everyone is overthinking it. it's easy to get suckered in by crunching the numbers at RB and fearing winding up with Starks/Felix as your only RBs but the move is to take the guy you know will bank tons of points. Right now Rodgers is the most valuable player in fantasy this year. he is also way less likely that any RB or WR to get injured and way less dependent on other factors (look at Mccoy when Reid decides to throw wildly). If Rodgers is available next year, you take him at any point

Voted Forte, in the land of wacky play callers I trust Martz more than Reid and Cameron to feature his RB. Crazy...
