In most games the Jags need a big play or score to even have a hope of winning a game. They get that big play early today.Great start for the Jags D.
The Jaguars receivers aren't the best in the league. The reason for the Jags being the 32nd ranked offense isn't all Gabbert's fault.Announcers talking about Gabbert: "Getting it close to the WR just ain't enough."![]()
I thought it was overly harsh. Gabbert was 2 for 7 at time but with 2 drops. The Jaguars receivers aren't the best in the league. The reason for the Jags being the 32nd ranked offense isn't all Gabbert's fault.Announcers talking about Gabbert: "Getting it close to the WR just ain't enough."![]()
If this were the first game of the year Gabbert struggled then it would be overly harsh. He's blown chunks all season. He looks like a bust already.I thought it was overly harsh. I thought it was accurate enough on that play. He threw the ball late, receiver had no chance to make the catch before it would have gone out of bounds.I thought it was overly harsh. I wish they would just give it to Montell Owens.Ugh, hate it every time they give it to Karim. He is no MJD, and no Rashad Jennings. This guy should only see daylight on special teams.
Thought the throw to Shorts was bad. He way underthrew it and Shorts had to come back to it and go low. If he had hit him in stride it would have been a lot more than 25.Two pass plays with time to throw, two completions for Gabbert, a short pass to Jones-Drew who had a long catch and run, then a 25 yard pass to Shorts.
Can't disagree.Brownstone, if you are going to give the ball to a running back with the expectation of getting two yards, might as well give it to Greg Jones and let him blast over defenders, he will get 2 yards with a shot at getting atleast 5 yards.
I don't know why they don't give it to Jones more. Yeah injuries have taken away a lot of his ability, but he's still a load.Brownstone, if you are going to give the ball to a running back with the expectation of getting two yards, might as well give it to Greg Jones and let him blast over defenders, he will get 2 yards with a shot at getting atleast 5 yards.
Not really, no. If anything both defenses are outplaying both offenses. What's the consensus going here so far? Jags really outplaying Houston?
I think the consensus would say that the defenses are outplaying the offense for both teams. Aside from a big play by the offense on each side, there hasn't been any sustained drives. What's the consensus going here so far? Jags really outplaying Houston?
Agreed as Gabbert has 85 yds passing and he might be the worst QB in the league right now......Leinart looking like the same old Leinart.

Not on that TD pass. Great throw to the open Dressen with a defender in his face.Leinart looking like the same old Leinart.
aBetter hope Schaub returns soon as the Foster show won't cut it in the playoffs without a passing threat. Not on that TD pass. Great throw to the open Dressen with a defender in his face.Leinart looking like the same old Leinart.
