Bills statkeeper must be blind. Searcy had a pass defensed that he didn't get credit for, and Florance was given a tackle that Searcy made! :wall:

i average 160 points everyweek.this week 80!! out of plyoffs.sick!!! someone give mccoy rb phily some sickum for his hands!!

 
Ugh...had the feeling the Pats would run the ball a ton today....and they are. Brady/Hernandez are gonna be my undoing this week, methinks

Awesome knowing that as well. Been a huge bust this year in fantasy. Making incorrect decisions every week. I have AJ in 2 of 3 leagues and Stevie Johnson in 2 of 3 and sat both because of the defenders and injuries and suckitude (Stevie lately). Got basically nothing from their replacements and have started both pretty much all year. Throw in Kevin Smith (own in 2 leagues as well) getting hurt in game (see venting week 11 as it happens every week) knowing he would have had a huge game in PPR.Arrgh, I hate FF this year.ETA: And then I get to watch Branch get caught at the one in the league I have Brady that gets bonuses for long TDs. Woot!

I give up. My team with Aaron Rodgers and Calvin Johnson at the highest scoring team in the league will be 5-7 after this week!!!!

If any of you want to start a roto style fantasy football league next year, please send me a private message. It is time we get rid of the head-to-head BS!

After the Thanksgiving Day games I was down 32 to 9, but he has already used Rodgers, Jennings, Gore, T. Smith, and Crosby while I had only used Rice and Calvin. Came into today feeling pretty good with Fitzgerald, VJax, Eagles D, Bironas and him rolling out Lloyd, TB M. Williams and the Bears D. Obviously Bironas made me happy, but every time he kicked a FG I would see that Lloyd or Williams scored a TD. I am tied with this owner leading our division and with VJax pulling his every other week disappearing act and the Eagles defense taking the week off I have to have absolutely MONSTER games from Brees and Nicks to have a shot. Basically I am hosed.

 
Just a few minutes left and I win, as long as Michael Bush stays out of the end zone....3 plays later $#@!&%!

 
Really tired of seeing Matt F'n Forte as a top 5 ranked rb every week since the emergence of Marion Barber. Forte is nothing more than a flex/#2 rb now. Will role with Jonathan Stewart and Darren Sproles going forward.

Here I was thinking I was stacking my lineup in a PPR league with Andre Johnson, Fitz, Dez Bryant, and VJax.... meanwhile my bench has Greg Little and Jermaine Gresham... :hot: :rant: :hot:

Probably cost me my wildcard spot in the league for playoffs....

 
Started Andre Johnson, Aaron Hernandez, and Torrey Smith at WR/TE. A combined 10 catches for 107 yards and no touchdowns (12.7 points). My WR/TE on the bench were David Nelson, Greg Little, and Mike Williams. They had a combined 16 catches for 188 yards and 3 touchdowns (42.1 points).

Plus his kicker, Janikowski, had 23.9 points by himself.

Man! what is that, like 20 total points out of those 4? That IS BRUTAL!
 
I could gripe about a number of epic catastrophes this week but I will reserve the spot for Jermichael Finley. How can this guy...this guy that everyone in the known universe says could be "uncoverable", go in there week in and week out and catch 2 balls a week? I know..I know...Packers spread it around..yada yada yada. But how about a more even spread? Jennings somehow gets his nearly every week. Jordy too.

But what kills me is Finley is supposed to be the advantage you have on your team every week. Yet, my opponents are killing me every week when I face their "supreme" Dustin Kellers and Scott Chandlers and Jake Ballards (or whatever his name is). There is no reason that Finley can't be A Jimy Graham or Gronk or even Gates. Those teams score at will and make sure their TE exploits the mismatch that he is. I miss Dallas Clark SO much right now!

I hear you. In my 8-team league, seriously considering outright dropping him (have Aaron Hernandez as my back-up). It's not even that he alternates great games with bad games like VJax. Except for week 3, none of them have been particularly good.
 
Thanks to Dan f'n Fouts for trying to break news about "limited touches" for Ryan Mathews and convincing me and many Ryan Mathews owners to bench him. :thumbdown:

Probably cost me a chance at the bye, may even knock me completely out of the playoffs. Thanks Dan!!! :rant:

Not looking to join another league, though I'll join the Calvin Johnson bad luck discussion. In my redraft league I have Roethelisberger, Foster, Wells, Benson, Calvin, Wallace, Lloyd, Decker, and Gates I was knocked out of the playoffs at 5-7. Started 4-0 without Foster (and Gates) and went 1-7 since. Played the high scorer three times. The guy who won my division had the lowest points against. Maybe if I played his schedule......

In the exact same boat... Lost by 2,1.5, 3 consecutive weeks early on and never got back on track till it was too late. :shrug:
 
Oh sure, the ONE game I don't start Reggie Wayne and he goes off.

Curtis Painter takes bad QB play to a whole new level.

The Saints have about 7 WR's but tonight the hot target seems to be Lance Moore - the one Saints WR that I am playing against. :thumbdown:

 
Down by 12 points coming into tonight's game with Marques Colston left for me. At halftime, I was only down by 1.2 points, needing just one catch for two yards. Nothing.

I hate primetime games. Thursday, Sunday, Monday, it doesn't matter. If I have a player going in a primetime game, they are instantly a terrible option and end up screwing me over somehow.

To add to the annoyance, my opponent started...

Dustin Keller - Picked up off the waiver wire, two touchdowns.

Beanie Wells - His best game ever.

Cedric Benson - Best game of the season in my league

Stevie Johnson - Going against Revis and still puts up huge numbers.

So damn frustrating.

 
Thanks to Victor Cruz's meaningless 2 TDs, I lose again. 2nd highest scoring team in the league despite losing 4 of my top 6 picks to season ending injuries and I'm 5-7. Just one of those "I score 114, opponent scores 116" type of seasons.

Average score in my league coming into this week is around 108. I've exceeded that score 10 times out of 12. I have about 60 more points for the year than a team who is 11-1.

5. And. 7. Unbelievable.

Things are worse in the other league I'm in.My WR/TE: L.Fitzgerald (6 pts), M.Wallace (2 pts), S.Rice (0 pts), A.Hernandez (9 pts)His WR/TE: V.Cruz (31 pts), G.Jennings (15 pts), W.Welker (27 pts), J.Graham (22 pts)So his four guys outscored my four by a score of 95 to 17. That helps explain why I lost this week 156 to 84.
 
I led by 33 points with only Eli to play for my opponent and needing a win to make the playoffs. I still led by 22 points entering the fourth quarter. I ended up losing by 2 points. I started Julio Jones over Lance Moore and Eric Decker or it wouldn't have been close. Also Kevin Smith getting injured in the first quarter. And Eli is the same guy who cost me making the playoffs last season when he was on my team and was awful down the stretch.

 
I had Roman Harper and a 21-point lead. My brother had Victor Cruz. Harper gets caught way out of position on Cruz's 72-yard TD and he takes the lead. The remaining catches and second TD were just salt in the wound.

 
Had Brees and Lance Moore. He Had Eli and Cruz. I turned it off mid 3rd quarter thinking it was a done deal. Garbage time beat me.

Gates - 49 yards

Calvin - 49 yards

1 more freaking yard each and I'd have won my matchup
