Game Thread W13 - Cincinnati V Pittsburgh (1 Viewer)

I'm excited for this one. I expect a shootout with some big fantasy performances from the WRs and TEs. Pitt knows they'll probably have to spread it out and throw it a bunch as they haven't run the ball much vs. the Bengals. And I suspect the Bengals also know that they'll have to make some big plays downfield in the passing game and try to outscore them.

Bengals penalty prevents a TD. Then another 5 yard penalty prevents an easy FG. Then the FG attempt gets blocked, and the Bengals end up with zero.

AJ Green is really good. And agreed, Dalton underthrew him it else it would have been a TD. Green made an amazing adjustment and catch to reel it in.

This team is not good enough to overcome a good team and all these stupid penalties. No reason for aj to even think about moving early when the ball was going to gresham.

So far the Bengals have outplayed the Steelers on both sides of the ball. But thanks to dumb mistakes, they have nada to show for it.

Great day for Mendenhall. Two touchdowns already, and he looks very spry.

After being outplayed by the Bengals for most of the 1st quarter, but not giving up anything thanks to Cincy mistakes, the Steelers have now taken early control 14-0.

Watching online...Is AJ Green torching the Steelers secondary or was he the beneficiary of some mistakes? 3 catches, 1 carry and a TD on the last drive...

Great TD catch by AJ Green. Green is IMO a high end WR1 going into next year.
High end WR1 means he's a top 6 WR, so no.I really like him for next year though, he should be a mid-WR2 value
I think he WILL be a top 6 WR next year. He's REALLY good and he beats even the best CBs in the league consistently.
He has the talent to be top 6, no doubt, but next year would seem a little premature. Im not ready to put him in the Megatron, Jennings, AJ, Fitz, Welker tier just yet.

I'll probably put him in right around Miles Austin. I think Miles will be the Cowboys best WR. Looks to me like Dez is content to rely on his athletic ability and won't develop the work ethic to reach his full potential.

i would draft him at 6. he will go 6-10 range I bet

And again, Tomlin's clock management is brutally bad. Why would you not use your timeouts and force another punt before half time?

He's ranked #9 in both of my leagues so far this year. Pretty close to top 6.IMO, he's better than both Jennings and Welker and the Bengals have less receiving targets than GB and NE which makes Green more attractive.

And Cruz and Jordy are #4 and #5 WRs in my league, doesnt mean theyll be drafted as WR1's next year (though obviously Green is a much better WR talent).Jennings and Welker also have much much better QBs than AJ. No way I would take Green over either of them next year.Im really high on Green as well, just saying I wouldnt draft him higher than WR10 or so and just because he's done this good as a rookie doesnt mean he necessarily has an even better year next year.
