Tebow throws that ball into the ground unintentionally. That's the real difference. That INT was one reason Tebow is better than Ponder. Tebow just tosses the ball into the ground, no int. Ponder forces that ball over and over and over, and he does not have the arm for it. He is not good enough to do a Favre
Tebow would have more int if he was that badthe other difference - Tebow is a winning qb.Tebow throws that ball into the ground unintentionally. It's really not that difficult to understand. The difference is, that he had the ball for 10-15yds, and was a runner when he crossed the goal line, not a receiver. That's the distinction.I agree though, the NFL's receiving rules are junk. The TD by Young is what drives me nuts about NFL rules!! I am glad he scored but had he made the exact same play in the end zone it would be incomplete,
Sadly for fantasy owners, Calvin probably won't put up decent numbers in the process. Why bother throwing into double teams when your other WRs are wide open? This could end up being one of the worst blow outs ever. Detriot passing atteack vs the worst secondary in the NFL. I think the Vikings have benched Griffen after he blew the coverage on Young.
I am not. They kept him in when they were blowing out Denver.
As they should. He is the only playmaker they have out on the field today.I'm really liking the Vikings' usage of Harvin. Regardless of situation -- behind, ahead, need a lot or a little yardage -- the Vikings appear willing to force the ball into Harvin's hands.
As of right now, he is Decoy 1 in the league.Calvin's become more and more of a decoy as the season has gone on.![]()
I believe it does. It was 2nd and 9, Calvin ran for 11 yards, the hold brought it back to 2nd and 8. Gain of 11- 10 for holding = 1 yard.Stat questionCalvin got credited 11 yards rushing on that end around when there was holding. Does it count because it was holding past the line of scrimmage?
So it's 11 yards rushing and a 10 yard penalty? I always thought the player gets credited with the net amount of yards gained. I'm probably wrong.I believe it does.
