Game Thread W14 - Tampa Bay V Jacksonville (1 Viewer)

On 4th and 1 on the Jags 36 yard line, Bucs go for it and complete a pass to Winslow down to the Jags 7. Bucs went for it instead of kicking a field goal because they are going into a stiff wind.

Freeman with a huge completion on 4th and 1 rollout.

Jags having problems keeping Freeman in pocket. Might be huge day for Freeman...

On 2nd and goal from the Jags 1 yard line, Blount plunges in for the TD. Bucs go 80 yards on 10 plays to lead 7-0.

The Jags opening drive made yards when they went to MJD on 4 straight runs, but after a penalty got into a situation where they had to pass, then the drive stalled. Jags recover a fumbled punt return on the Bucs 38 yard line.

Gabbert's decision making must be questioned as he threw back across his body to the left into double coverage as he was running to his right. Ronde Barber gets the easy interception.

Freeman scrambles out of the pocket and runs in to score a 13 yard TD. Bucs increase their lead to 14-0.

On the TD, Montell Owens had the hit that caused the fumble and Jaguars street free agent of the week TE Cloherty recovered to score the TD.

Big play by Gabbert, he stood in the pocket for a long time and delivered a pass to Marcedes Lewis who fought for 62 yards.

Unbelievably the Jaguars have taken the lead. Freeman fumbled the ball at the Bucs 1 yard line as he was about to be sacked. Jags recover in the endzone. Jags lead 21-14!

I think this is the first time the Jaguars have scored 21 points this season. Albeit that one TD was on special teams recovery of a fumble for a TD and the defense recovered a fumble in the endzone.

On 3rd and 4 from the Bucs 5 yard line, Gabbert delivers a pass to MJD who fights into the endzone. Jaguars increase their lead to 28-14!

A big thumbs up to Maurice Jones Drew for scoring his 71st touchdown setting a Jaguars franchise record. He surpasses Jimmy Smith and Fred Taylor who had 70 and 69 TDs respectively.

The turnovers keep happening for the Bucs. On a short dump pass from Freeman, the ball is high and tipped into the air where the Jags defender catches it just before the ball hits the turf.

Jags could of put the final nail in the coffin there. Ugly game.

Blount fumbles.

Gabbert threw an interception in the endzone ending a drive that should of ending in more points for the Jags.

TB loses the challenge on the fumble. Didn't appear to be a shot showing both the location of the ball and the runner being down. I think it would have been reversed if they could have had a better replay angle.

With DuJuan Harris getting carries spelling MJD last week and this week, Jenning s coming back next season, and the fact that Karim has been inactive last week and this week, Karim may be on his way out of Jacksonville.

"Bye-bye Karim" was my first thought after that good Harris run.

Gabbert continues to have his best career day as he passes short to MJD for the TD. Jaguars have scored 35 unanswered points to up their lead to 35-14.

Freeman had the ball knocked out of his hands. The Bucs have given up 6 turnovers, and that doesn't include the two fumbles that the Bucs have managed to recover.
