Week 15 Bragging Thread (1 Viewer)

Espn league finals. Up 42 and he has gore to play...with standard scoring it's near impossible.

Also should be in finals thanks to A Hernandez best game in ages.

Wow it's been a couple years since my last championship and things weren't looking good this year. Lost Forte and was the #4 seed going against the UNDEFEATED #1 Seed (Rodgers, Gronk, McCoy, Sproles owner).

Our matchup was one of the most exciting games I've ever followed live in fantasy football, EVER. It was back and forth all day. I was sulking every single time Sproles touched the ball and couldn't believe CJ didn't light up the Colts. But things started to turn around slowly. Highlights were a waiver wire gem Brandon Browner turning a 1 tackle/1 point performance and adding a pick 6 in garbage time. Staffords game winning TD all but sealed the deal and I'm still OMG-ing like a little girl.

I have Gates and 15 point lead (in a PPR) vs Lardarius Webb who averages about 10 points per game in our format. Got a fat pot waiting for me now just gotta finish business on Sunday Night!

god i love my team, best team ive ever had. and it was all through the draft except for a trade i made for roddy. if i dont win next week im gonna be so disappointed. im up by 90 right now lol.

qb- stafford

rb- foster, mathews

wr- white, nicks, wallace

te- gronk

bench- benson, tate, and jordy

seems someone always steps up. with gronk disappointing i still get huge games from stafford, foster, and roddy

oh and i was debating my flex between jordy, mathews, and wallace all week. i posted on mfl facebook page and it was a landslide 40-0 to start jordy. people were saying i was dumb and it was an easy decision. but i just ddidnt feel comfortable starting him cuz of kcs cornerbacks, a gut feeling gb would struggle, and the loss of jennings hurting him. benched him last minute for mathews. it didnt matter in the final outcome but im so glad i trusted my gut.

Thank god for Caleb Hanie. Had the Seahawk D going in both my playoff games and they bailed me out. One win in the books and the other I'll get if I can get 18 out of Mendy, Vernon and Akers in a ppr. Matchups went against me and Rodgers didn't help me as much as expected, but I came back from 66 down before one of my players hit the field (faced Romo and Roddy).

My league penalizes for missed field goals. Tied at 109 Sebastian Janikowski missed a 65yd kick . The rest is history :tebow:

I made it into the Super Bowl despite my opponent having Brees, Spiller and R. Bush! Thank God for Stafford and Seattle Def!

That Torrey Smith garbage TD just propelled my Dynasty team to the championship!

I'd been getting smoked all day by a crappy team, and am relieved I get to defend my title next week!!

:football: :football:

I beat a Brees/Bush team this week myself thanks to Stafford/Calvin/Sproles/ATL defense (I had spiller on the bench!!!)Last week knocked out a guy starting Eli (400 yds +2 Td's), Julio Jones (2 td's) and MJD (4 td's)...it's been an interesting run to the finals to say the least!!

with cam newton and atlanta d on the bench i won with this lineup. yes i played eli over cam and still pulled it off. :banned: so stoked.

QB - Eli Manning

RB's - Ryan Mathews, Lesean McCoy

WR's - Calvin Johnson, Dez Bryant

RB/WR Flex - Demaryius Thomas

TE - Jermaine Gresham

DP - Clay Matthews

D/ST - Cardinals

K - Dan Bailey

Anyone think they will get Stafford in the 10th next year

on a side note i almost started my backup all year in eli over Matty but went with the horse that has gotten me here. Thank you Matt! oh and Julio! Mathews! Bryant! and Jimmy G!

Thanks to Brees and the Atlanta defense I'm on to the second round where I'll face my twin brother. Should be interesting!

I don't usually like to brag too much, but I wanted to share my team from this week. Even with Percy Harvin having his worst game of the season, I managed to set a league scoring record against the second highest scoring team in the league (I am first). That makes my third win against him this year, and I am moving on to the Championship game against the defending champ.

QB - Tony Romo - 31.86

RB - Felix Jones - 17.10

RB - Lesean McCoy - 28.70

RB - Marshawn Lynch - 18.70

WR - Percy Harvin - 3.70

WR - Roddy White - 36.50

WR - Marques Colston - 17.10

TE - Brent Celek - 28.60

PK - Nick Novak - 11.00

TD - Atlanta Falcons - 25.00

Total Points - 218.26 (Previous record was 215, and was the only other score over 200 in league history). My opponent had Brees, Reggie Bush, and the Seattle defense, but is sitting at 160 with Mike Wallace left to play. Any other week, he would almost be guaranteed a win.

With all of that said, I'm prepared for my 80 point showing next week in the championship!

Was able to overcome my opponent's Brees and Hernandez with Stafford and Reggie Bush. The only reason I started Bush was because of Matt Forte's injury, but I called his 76 yard TD run while watching the game at a friend's place. Only need 2 points from Akers to advance to my 2nd straight championship game.

I was up one point heading into last night's game. All of my players were done and my opponent has Baltimore's defense. All he needed was a single sack, interception, etc. to at least tie....

I went to bed thinking I'm done.

This morning..... :excited: :banned: :excited:

Megatron, Stafford, Mathews, Roddy, SEA Def, Celek, Driver, Sproles (return yards), and Rice helped me to a 235 to 79 semi final win, in a league that avgs 125 per team. Talk about stars aligning at the right time.

Best Week 15 ever.

league1 - won 123-118 to advance to championship

league2 - won 117.86-66.78 to advance to championship

league3 - won 167-83 to win the $$ pot

league4 - won 154-99 in consolation bowl for bragging rights vs wife (not a good thing actually)

lol--I'm the one with Baltimore's defense. My opponent had Pitt's defense plus Ben last night. I'm Stunned I won. Didn't get to watch and didn't even know until just now getting up to check! First time to the finals in years.

$300 league, up 12 with only akers...he has pitt and gore in a ppr league...oof!

pulled it out, just barely in the end...he is more than likely horrified, considering I also have brady and he has welker and gronk!! just awful for him, I truly feel for that guy. That FG penalty/Gore TD came oh so close to being a huge difference in money after next weekend...not really bragging, just thanking God at this point.

Best fantasy week in memory for me. We pulled out season-highs in points in both my leagues.

In my dynasty league, it's the first trip to the championship in 7 seasons. All it took was the highest single game total my team has ever put up. While my opp (who has beaten me ~90% of time since I joined league) had Brees, Shady, Roddy, Graham, Rice, we coaxed decent-to-great performaces out of everyone in the lineup. R Bush, A Hernandez, ATL D really stepped up.

Started the season with a dismal 2-4 record. Thought for sure that I had no chance at a playoff spot. I went on to win every game after that to close the season at 9-4. I was the division champion which gave me a first round bye in the playoffs.

This week was the semi-final for our league. After a mediocre showing from Aaron Rodgers, I was convinced that it was all over. I would like to personally thank Eli Manning for allowing me to advance to the next round.

I'm now in the Championship game and win or lose, I'm in the money.
