I would get MJD
and I would give
CJ Spiller, Steve Smith (CAR), 1.4 (and he wants my 2013 1st which I got from another team 4-7 range).
I think I am giving up way too much, as much as I want MJD I really don't need him.
I won my league last year, team is in signature.
Your thoughts?

His price for MJD may be on the high side, but I don't see the price he wants for MJD to be totally outrageous, STUD RBs in their prime aren't cheap.
I can see where a owner may think that Smith is getting old & his ability to repeat last year ff results are tough to do (32 years old), and Spiller has upside, but he is not proven yet. That 2013 pick may end up being in the middle (picks 5-9) of the first round, so I don't see this as being a totally outrageous price for MJD.
I would tend to agree with you, I would either draft Martin, or I would look for a different RB to trade for.
With your RBs, giving up Spiller for a STUD RB may not be in your best interest, is there a different package that you can put together to obtain a a good RB? I would rather deal McFadden (injury history) instead of Spiller for a good/STUD RB, but I can also understand why one would want to keep McFadden.

i love MJD, and think he's got several more years of super production left. But when I look at your WRs, you have a lot of guys who are going to start that decline sooner than later (Smith, AJ, Roddy White) so I'd probably keep what you have and take the 2nd WR off the board in your rookie draft. Couldn't fault you for going either way.

i think smith, 1.4 and a 1st next year is fair. i don't think i would add spiller in as well. i will tell you that I am high on spiller though a lot more then some around here. i like mjd as well. but 2 1sts, steve smith and spiller seems high too me.
