#NFL #schedule to come tomorrow http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d82859a69/article/nfl-to-announce-regularseason-schedule-on-tuesday-at-7-pm-et
Well, at least there won't be any talk of GB going undefeated after the first week....Hearing rumors that San Fran will open at Green Bay for Fox's big game.
Very nice.reported by 97.1 the tickets Tont Ortiz - The Lions will host the Houston Texans on Thanksgiving.
After no prime timers last year, it will be good to see the Texans in prime time. With the 13 Thursday night games, I believe all NFL teams are now guaranteed at least one prime time game. That is very nice for all teams in the league.Very nice.reported by 97.1 the tickets Tont Ortiz - The Lions will host the Houston Texans on Thanksgiving.
I, for one, will not be watching all the crappy Thursday Night matchups on a network that I don't have in my house. After no prime timers last year, it will be good to see the Texans in prime time. With the 13 Thursday night games, I believe all NFL teams are now guaranteed at least one prime time game. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Broncos get a Sunday night game or two later in the season, that way Manning is on in prime time, but if by chance his neck acts up and his comeback is stunted, they can always flex out of the Broncos game and go with another, a luxury they wouldn't have early in the season. Can't believe ESPN is dragging this out for a 3-hour show. No thanks, I'll read it online tomorrow.Expecting Denver (Manning), Jets (Tebow), and maybe Buffalo (Mario) to get nice bumps in number of prime time games.
Bumemr for you.Increase in prime time: Denver, SF, DetroitDecrease: Miami, Indy, SaintsI, for one, will not be watching all the crappy Thursday Night matchups on a network that I don't have in my house. After no prime timers last year, it will be good to see the Texans in prime time. With the 13 Thursday night games, I believe all NFL teams are now guaranteed at least one prime time game. thought they came out closer to 4Time for the LEAKS! Anybody got any?
SUPERJOHN-r u ready?
Starting to hear some things, this from a contact in Toronto who is marginally reliable . . . Jaguars at Bills in Toronto, Sunday, November 11th.Time for the LEAKS! Anybody got any?
This seems extremely silly to me. A single bye week isn't going to affect a team THAT much, in order to hurt your team for the rest of the year (and in particular, in playoffs, when it REALLY counts). His 3rd wr starting instead of vjax may drop him a bit if vjax happens to have a big game. I'd bet that the chances of you winning the week by less points then vjax MAY have had that week over his next best wr seems pretty slim. I'd roll the dice with your line up and keep vjax for the playoffs in that situation.'matttyl said:Anyone else doing what I'm doing and matching up my player's bye weeks with the team I'm playing that week and targeting them for a trade?Example - lets say V Jax has a week 7 bye, and I'm playing team #4 that week. Now I'm a bit inclined to trade V Jax to team 4 knowing that he wouldn't be able to start him against me that week. I did that last year a few times, and while I may have sold the player at a bit of a discount, their inability to use that player against me really helped.
If there's one thing we can always count on, it's plenty of NFC East teams (was hoping that Dallas would be paired up with a non-NFC East team on Thanksgiving).'VA703 said:REDSKINS PLAYING THANKSGIVING VS DALLAS
Well I'd be trading him for another player...maybe who's bye week isn't an issue for me at all (maybe it's a week when I'm playing a very weak team). This seems extremely silly to me. Your leaguemates should take advantage of this tactic, by flipping those guys you trade them at a discount for a better deal - which would make you play against them anyway.'matttyl said:Anyone else doing what I'm doing and matching up my player's bye weeks with the team I'm playing that week and targeting them for a trade?Example - lets say V Jax has a week 7 bye, and I'm playing team #4 that week. Plenty of NFC East teams where? If there's one thing we can always count on, it's plenty of NFC East teams (was hoping that Dallas would be paired up with a non-NFC East team on Thanksgiving).'VA703 said:REDSKINS PLAYING THANKSGIVING VS DALLAS
I was just commenting on the Dallas Thanksgiving game going to Washington. If you're a fan of an NFC East team, there is really no need for Sunday Ticket if you live outside of the local area. Every game will end up in primetime or in the national game on CBS/Fox.Plenty of NFC East teams where? If there's one thing we can always count on, it's plenty of NFC East teams (was hoping that Dallas would be paired up with a non-NFC East team on Thanksgiving).'VA703 said:REDSKINS PLAYING THANKSGIVING VS DALLAS

*Sigh* and as a Panthers fan, we get two primetime games...against two NFC East teams (Philly and NYG).I was just commenting on the Dallas Thanksgiving game going to Washington. With 1 Primetime game last year, Houston gets 5: 2 Sunday night, 2 MNF and Thanksgiving. But only 1 of those (Packers on Sunday night) is at home :-(After no prime timers last year, it will be good to see the Texans in prime time. With the 13 Thursday night games, I believe all NFL teams are now guaranteed at least one prime time game. You think there is some sort of conspiracy keeping the Bills down?Bills have to play the Pats after the Pats' bye. Yet again. It's almost comical at this point. And it's in New England of course. And 7 of their first 11 are away games. Awesome. NFL doing their best to make sure Buffalo doesn't capitalize on their offseason and start off strong again.
I don't think it's a conspiracy, but it's unreal how Buffalo ends up playing one or both of the Pats and Jets after those teams' byes every year. It was either last year or the year before that they played like 4 teams after byes. I'm sure plenty of teams have reasons to complain, but it's pretty clear that the Bills don't have the pull that some owners seem to have in getting their teams more beneficial schedules. You think there is some sort of conspiracy keeping the Bills down?Bills have to play the Pats after the Pats' bye. I was just gonna say, that is a freakin cakewalk. Gotta hope that division improves or they waltz into the superbowl again. So once again the Patriots got the easiest schedule, just like clockwork, correct?
