Best DST's for ROS - What do you think? (1 Viewer)

Obviously, the Bears, 49ers, and Seahawks are top 3 or close. After that, there still seems to be a lot of uncertainty. Let's discuss:

Texans - have been great, but lost Cushing and got torched last week.

Broncos - top 3 in my league so far. Good schedule rest of the way.

Cardinals - been solid, but not dominant recently.

Browns - FBG has them as top 7 ROS. Should be better now that the suspension is over for their top CB.

Bucs - FBG has them as top 6 ROS.

I just picked up the Chargers DST. After the bye week, I love the next 3 matchups and fantasy playoff schedule looks good too.

Wk 8 at Browns

Wk 9 vs Chiefs

Wk 10 at Buccaneers

Wk 11 at Broncos

Wk 12 vs Ravens

Wk 13 vs Bengals

Wk 14 at Steelers

Wk 15 vs Panthers

Wk 16 at Jets

Not a bad schedule, but I don't think their defense is very solid. They looked better earlier on against some pretty bad offenses, but I could easily see the Broncos, Ravens, Bengals, and Steelers all torching them.

I picked them up for weeks 8 and 9. And then maybe pick them up for Weeks 15 and 16 for the playoffs.

Even Week 8 is questionable. I guess a lot of it has to do whether you get points for yards allowed. The Browns are actually pretty good at moving the ball both with the pass and run.

What do people think of Oakland, Atlanta or Minnesota the ROS?

I see some juicy matchups for all three. Oak might have the best schedule out there, but are they good enough to score from it.

After the top 3..

Minn

Houston

Denver (given up points but look to be on the uptick)

Arizona

Should be in that bunch..

Then the up an comers/flavor of the matchup.

St Louis

Miami

Tampa

------------

Cincy

and

Green bay

Can put pressure on an make things happen but give up points.

Nice list. Personally, I would slot New England in there somewhere. They have a pretty nice schedule remaining.

my league is just def no st. pats look great the rest of the way. love the way they create turnovers, just need to limit the points a bit. this week vs nyj should be money. only vs hou would I sit the rest of the way. atl is the number 3 def in my league. they still have NO x 2 and nyg though. besides that they look good...

Texans - Pretenders! Look at the QB's they faced earlier this season (Tannehill, Gabbert, Locker/Hasselbeck, Sanchez) When they faced good QB's like Peyton and Rogers they didn't do so well. Peyton put up 330 yds 2 td's and 0 interceptions and we all know what Rodgers did to them last week. Now with Cushing out for the season I'm staying away.Cardinals - Weeks 8-11 are looking pretty bad (49ers, @Packers, Bye, @Falcons) and their offensive troubles are going to kill the value here.Broncos - They have the most favorable schedule for the rest of the season.Browns - Schedule is really tough after this week.I'm liking Green Bay for the next few weeks (@Rams, Jaguars, Cards) but it gets pretty difficult after that.

The Broncos have produced well so far and have a great schedule the rest of the way. D.J. Williams returning from suspension in a few weeks should help too. I also like the Patriots down the stretch with some nice matchups.

I like Miami as a possible nice play.

@Jets

@Colts

Titans

@Bills

Seahawks

Patriots

@Niners

Jags

Bills

I'd consider all the bolded nice matchups, they are all poor offenses, or turn-over prone. Pats in 13 is obviously a bad matchup, might want a fill in, and @Niners in 14 could be hit or miss. I know, those are key weeks, but the rest is laid out pretty well.

Is it time to give up on the Steelers as a fantasy D/ST? Thinking about dropping them for the Broncos to pair up with Vikings the rest of the way.

I guess it also comes down to a potential Week 16 superbowl matchup. What's better? PIT vs CIN or DEN vs CLE? MIN @ STL in week 15 should be solid.

They certainly do have a pretty nice remaining schedule. (worth a shot)I'm just not sold on them, with the points they've given up to the likes ofSeattle, Buffalo and Arizona I need to see more good before I'd add them in.

Jets have a very nice schedule weeks 13-16: AZ, JAC, Ten and SD. They have played well, and found them on our WW..
