What do you dynasty owners see in Bryce Brown? (2 Viewers)

Seen him on a lot of peoples sleeper lists but dont really "get" what everyone is seeing in this guy. 16 team league is pretty deep, he's on waivers and im considering a pickup. Whats the deal with him? Simply a play on shady injury or is he a truly talented handcuff ala Turbin or Hunter?

He has breakaway speed, cutback ability, and runs for power. He has the size to be an every down back in the NFL. All of this according to scouting reports. I am impressed he beat out Dion Lewis for the back up position. Lister to this weeks version of The Audible podcast. Lammey, Bloom, & Waldman discuss some dynasty keeps towards the end of the show

I know he was a bigtime recruit out of high school, and all the "news" that comes out about him in Philly is good. I haven't seen many Philly games this year, but when I have he hasn't looked particularly good? Has he looked good in the other games?

The guy has a 40 yard run and only 27 carries, which is usually a recipe for a massively inflated YPC. Yet his "inflated" ypc is still only 3.9. Has he been used in a lot of short yardage situations?

They don't even use McCoy enough as it is for him to have any use this year in redraft. He is the kind of player you want for dynasty rosters.

Coming out of high school (if memory serves) he was rated higher than Trent Richardson. He had some knucklehead issues through college and put himself in a "less than optimum" draft situation. He does have all the talent needed for a starting position. For now he's a stash if you have room. You won't see much for another year or two unless Shady goes down of course. I'm stashing him in a couple leagues.

He's got first round type talent and seized the #2 job in Philly so it would appear he's not just wasting his talent.

Big problem with him is other than being a handcuff for McCoy I don't see him getting sizeable PT for possibly years. He's signed to a multi year deal backing up a young and talented runner who is also signed to a multi year deal. So huge upside here but going to take a dynasty league with deep roster sizes and a very patient owner.

I'm high on him because I expect Andy Reid to be gone after this year. They may actually run the ball in 2013. He's looked good to me, both on college film and a few plays I've seen in the NFL. I don't think he's good enough to unseat McCoy, but he is plenty good enough to warrant 7 or 8 carries a game and to be the goal line guy. I also think he's plenty good enough to carry the torch if/when McCoy is injured.

Could turn into a Jonathan Stewart situation.

Agree with all the positive traits that people have mentioned, but what I have been most impressed with (because he never did it before) is his ability to pass protect. He stones people and they need that because the OL sucks. He also has very good hands it seems. Dude is a complete back behind one of the best in the league, not sure what type of value that is but to me it would take a 2nd at least to get him off my roster in a 12 team ppr dynasty. Have to wait a while but he will be an impact player eventually.
