Frank Gore (1 Viewer)

What struck me odd is he doesn't seem to know his own QB's name. In fact I think he calls him Calvin at one point.

After spending a couple of years running in Singletary's caveman pancake offenses, I'm surprised he isn't having his breakfast spoon fed to him.

I didn't see anything wrong with the interview. He seems like a nice guy, just speaks a little slowly and was probably nervous.

Superstar RB. Caperstink ( I think I heard Gore call him that) makes Gore even better. The holes to run through are bigger than they were when Alex Smith was the QB.

Wow that was odd.-Poor speaker?-Unintelligent?-Nervous?
I did not click the link but I know the guy has difficulty talking. He had a speech impediment growing up and from the comments in this thread I guess it is still a problem.
Not really. He speaks a little slowly but that's about it.
Please research it. He definitely had a problem growing up. It might have been related to poor hearing or something.

fwiw, he scored a 6 on the Wonderlic test. Intelligence isn't his thing, but at the end of the day he probably has more money banked then 99% of people posting here.

Pretty sad that some of you are rippng on a guy who has had a learning disability his whole life. He's turned out pretty well considering,

An interesting lil tidbit about Frank "Rain Man" Gore...

"But Gore has long been viewed as a football savant. When he was the 49ers' head coach, Falcons defensive coordinator Mike Nolan used to call Gore to get his evaluations on teammates and players around the league. Two years ago, Trent Baalke and Gore watched film of college running backs, with the 49ers' general manager soliciting his opinions.

On Thursday, offensive coordinator Greg Roman said it didn't take Gore long to adjust to the read-option.

"He's one of the most gifted, knowledgeable and intelligent football players that I've been around, really at any position," Roman said. "He just has a feel and an understanding for the game. It's funny, when you install something or put something new in, he can just see it."

To be intelligent in the traditional sense has little to nothing to do with the game of football, especially at the running back position.

An old buddy of mine from Louisiana used to order fajitas like "I'll take an order of your chicken fa-HEE-tesuses". :lmao:

I asked him if his real name was Harvey Manfrenjensenjen, but he didn't get it.

But I didn't call him stupid!.

I hope he doesn't suffer from mental illness 10 years from now from the pounding he's taken in the NFL. Watching that makes me worry about him.

He also had a severe learning disability. It's not that he's lazy, but had a disability.
