Points to consider.

• Last year, he he had a 70% catch rate, good for 3rd in the NFL. (60 target minimum).
• This year, his catch rate is 61%, which is worse, but still above average for a WR.
• Last week, he had a really good game (5-87-1) vs. a top pass defense in KC.
• Kelly runs a 3WR set, and Avant has been on the field 84% of the time.
• Lastly, Cooper stinks. He ranks 83rd out of 90 in footballoutsiders DVOA, and he has a 38% catch rate. He also cannot get off the jam, while Avant can.

I think that Avant is a decent add for the rest of the season. Grab him now while you can.

He seems to be the only other passing option that's going to be given the opportunity to produce in this offense as he's seen 15 targets in the past two weeks (after seeing just 3 week 1). I think he's a sneaky play this week and a PPR option in deeper leagues moving forward.
