One thing is for sure. I wont be taking Isaiah "stolen gun" Crowell. I think people are putting too much stock in Carey's atrocious combine. The tape tells a different story.

Shanahanigans,

I appreciate your adding your thoughts on both Crowell and Carey, as one of my goals in running these polls is to stimulate some debate and discussion on the NFL prospects for the players in the 2014 NFL Draft, and how they are valued in the Fantasy Football community.

Carey was being talked about as a top 5 RB in some circles prior to his poor combine (while others had him ranked lower), so it has been interesting to see how far he is falling. Crowell is mentioned as having top RB talent in this draft class; however, many are not buying that he is a "changed man" and that his past transgressions are now behind him.

Cheers,

Faust

Why? When he gets into the league, he can afford to buy a new gun. No more hot/street metal. Surely you aren't judging Isaiah based on him exercising his Constitutional rights.
The fact that he was carrying around a stolen gun with the serial number scratched out says a lot about his character and intelligence. Plus, I have a no headcase policy after getting bit repeatedly by "low-character-high-value" guys.

There is a difference between a bad combine, and an "atrocious" one. Carey had an atrocious one and even though I was a supporter I just can't let that slide and keep him at the top. I agree that the Crowell/Carey could be argued either way but I think that's about where his "value" is in considering taking him.

But clearly not according to these polls since Crowell is leading all of them over Carey at least.

Yeah, I didn't expect anyone to take that seriously. Rolling around with a blanked out gun shows the worst judgement someone can make.

I can't believe I'll be able to get freeman in the mid to late 2nd. I'm trading down for him in every league
There is a number of interesting prospects still available in the mid to late second round. The NFL Draft will change everything, of course, and if Freeman lands in a good spot, he could move up quite a bit in the second set of polls.

Monday bump.

Let me know if you feel that there are any players who should be under consideration to be added to these polls soon.

Terrance West is included in the Standard Scoring poll, and is the next RB to be added to the PPR poll.

I find it interesting that RB Andre Williams is pick 2.01 in the Standard Scoring poll; however, he appears to be quite a few picks away from being selected in the PPR poll.
