Looking for website for a very complicated scoring system league (1 Viewer)

[SIZE=medium]I am in a league for the last 25 years that has a very different kind of scoring system. It is not based at all on points per statistic, but rather a head to head comparison of groups of players from each team for a number of different statistics, and awarding either 3 or 7 points to each team for exceeding the other teams values in those statistics. [SIZE=medium]We have never found a website that can accomadate this system, so we have run the league off-line for all these years. However many of the members are frustrated with having to score the games by had, not having live scoring updates available, and with dealing with many of the headaches that most leagues rid themselves of years ago by going web based.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]So we are searching for a website or developer that may be intersted in trying to develop somethig for us. 1. [SIZE=medium]Each team is made up of 13 starting players. Maximum: 3 QB, 5 RB, 5 WR, 2 TE, 2 K. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE are played in each quarter. The 2 Kickers do not contribute to any 1st[/SIZE], 2[SIZE=small]nd[/SIZE], or 3[SIZE=small]rd[/SIZE] quarter statistics. Also, position players cannot contribute to a team’s kicking points.

1. [SIZE=medium]If/Then lineups are not permitted. An example of an If/Then lineup is: If pickup of Batman is successful, then play Superman in the 1st[/SIZE], Popeye in the 2[SIZE=small]nd[/SIZE], Daffy in the 3[SIZE=small]rd[/SIZE].

1. [SIZE=medium]Any player not receiving a stat for the entire game is considered not having played. “No-stat” means that the player had no rushing attempts, no rushing yards, no rushing TDs, no pass receptions, no receiving yards, no receiving TD’s, no pass attempts, no passing yards, no passing TD’s, no passing interceptions, no passing two-point conversions, no rushing two-point conversions, and no-receiving two-point conversions. Note that it is possible for a player to be a “no-stat” player, in spite of actually playing in an NFL game. Their quarter(s) drop down to the next player listed in your lineup of the same position who isn’t playing in the “no-stat player’s” quarter(s). If the end of the list is reached in your lineup without assigning the “no stat” quarter to another player, continue the search at the top of the list of the same position and start working down again. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]Exception: A “no-stat” player cannot drop to the next player in the list if his NFL team is on a bye during a week’s play, unless an owner’s attempt to cut him and play a pickup player in his place fails.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]If the “no-stat” player is ineligible to fall to the next player, he receives zeros for his stats. Also, if a team inadvertently places a player in his lineup that is not on his roster, then that player receives zeros for his stats.[/SIZE]

Batman’s 3[SIZE=small]rd[/SIZE] quarter would go to Spiderman, since Daffy is already listed in the 3[SIZE=small]rd[/SIZE] quarter. Once we hit the bottom of the list, we start over at the top of the list looking for the first vacant 3[SIZE=small]rd[/SIZE] quarter player, which is Spiderman.

[SIZE=medium]- A player can be listed in the lineup but not entered in any of the first three quarters (“no quarter player”). This player will not count in the 4th quarter, unless he contributes in the 1st[/SIZE], 2[SIZE=small]nd[/SIZE], or 3[SIZE=small]rd[/SIZE] quarter because of a “no-stat” player’s quarters falling to him.

[SIZE=medium]- If more than 13 players are submitted in a lineup, players will be dropped from the bottom of the lineup, maintaining the minimum required at each position (in order of precedence, the last TE listed if more than 1 is in the lineup, then the last WR listed if more than 2 is in the lineup, then the last RB listed if more than 2 is listed in the lineup, then the last QB listed if more than 1 is listed in the lineup.) If three players are listed in a quarter, the last player listed will be taken out of the quarter. If only one player is listed in a quarter, the other slot will be filled by the next available player starting from the top.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=18pt]SCORING[/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]- Scoring is done on a head to head comparison basis for the players selected in each of the first 3 "Quarters" (these are not quarters of the NFL game, but different scoring categories. Stats from the entire NFL game are used for scoring.) [/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]The stats of every player played in each quarter count for all three categories. Example: If a RB is played in the 3rd, his receiving yds are added into the total receiving yards statistic. Each statistic is added up, compared to the other team, and 3 or 7 points are awarded to the winner.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]In the fourth quarter, only the best QB, 2 best RBs, and 2 best WRs and best TE are used in their own categories (ie only receivers can be used for receiving stats, RBs for rushing stats, and QB's for passing. You receive 3 points for winning 2 out of 3, and 7 points for 3 out of 3 of the 4th quarter categories. Also, you receive 3 points for kicking if the point differential between your kickers and your opponents is less than 7 points. 7 points are awarded for kicking if the differential is >=7. Bonus points are awarded for individual exceptional performances. [/SIZE]
