Week 4 Injury Thread (1 Viewer)

Niles Paul - TE - Redskins

Redskins TE Niles Paul has been officially diagnosed with a concussion.

It was clear as day to anyone watching the game. Paul got knocked out cold on the field, and was dazed as he was helped to the locker room. He might not be staring at a quick recovery, though he does have 10 days to get cleared for Week 5. If neither Paul nor Jordan Reed (hamstring) can go against the Seahawks, Logan Paulsen will get the call.

From Roto:

Ladarius Green (hamstring) did not practice on Friday.

Green is trending squarely in the wrong direction. He was "limited" in Thursday's practice, which often means a player was injured during the session and could not finish. His absence Friday is ominous. If Green can't play against the Jaguars, Antonio Gates would ascend to high-end TE1 status. Jacksonville's defense allows the most fantasy points in the NFL to tight ends.

Schefter: Tennessee will start QB Charlie Whitehurst in place of the injured Jake Locker today at Indianapolis.

5:34am - 28 Sep 14

Jarrett Boykin and Denarius Moore are inactive.

Edit: Moore is a healthy scratch.

DeAngelo Williams limped off after his right leg was grabbed from behind. Not much contact there though. Hope you picked up Reaves already.

Edit - missed two plays, back in.

Carr hurt.

Knee twisted up during a tackle.
The sideline reporter said ankle and knee and he was in a lot of pain. He played for one play while in a lot of pain and made a nice sideline completion. Dan Fouts criticized the team for leaving Carr in the game for that one play while he was limping and in pain.

Mike Evans-Injured. Looks like a groin or leg. came up limping on a play.

That looks like a groin for Mike Evans. Pulled up on route and limped off. Looked from the INT replay he had a hand in his groin.

Andre Johnson out with leg injury. Doesn't look serious but just went to locker room.
