Super Bowl 47

In an attempt to check it off the old bucket list, I am planning to make the trip down to the Big Easy with my BIL and two buddies.
Got a good deal on a flt into Biloxi and then will drive the 1.5hr into NO.
I've been monitoring the game ticket prices and they've gone from $1700-$1800 (before Sunday) up to $2200+ now. Has anyone ever been thru this process? Will the ticket prices drop significantly like 2-3 days before the game? Tickets were just released today and I'm seeing decent deals on Craigslist, but I would prefer to buy at the right time.
I'm not too concerned with a place to stay yet as we are seeing a lot of options in the surrounding areas of NO.
Would also love any advice for places to eat/see and also places to stay away from, but right now my priority is securing a seat
TIA!

Root Canal Guys?
14 January 2013 - 01:29 PM
What amount of pain am I in store for?
Started having pain (ache?) that felt like coming from my upper left side and by Sunday I couldn't tell if the pain from coming from the upper or lower.
Saw my dentist today who did some x-rays and she suspects that my nerve in tooth 15 is dying. I have a root canal consult scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.
I've heard the horror stories from friends that have had it done a long time ago, but my dentist says it's not nearly as bad anymore (riiiiigght
).
Any tips or things I need to know before, during, or after?

SF @ ATL

I hope the "rule of 3" doesn't extend into the postseason for SF.
Should be a high-scoring affair. SF secondary will have their hands full with Roddy/Julio. I think Willis and Bowman are able to take Gonzo out of the game. Key will be getting pressure on Ryan so he isn't able to take those deep shots.
On the other side of the ball, I think the SF coaching staff will put together another perfect game plan. There was talk about seeing some trick plays in the GB/SF game, but I think this is where we'll see some trickery.
Good luck ATL!
Prediction: 38-24 SF
ETA: Just saw the other thread that was started 5 mins before mine. Feel free to merge or delete this one.
