I did a hill program on the treadmill today. That 7.8 incline is killer. Legs are really feeling it.

4x800 for me today.  first time doing 800m intervals and I think I like doing them better than 400m. Of course it could have been because it was about 65 degrees and a nice cool rain.  It was fun running fast (well, fast for me anyway) in the rain.  

 

Another question for the group (I feel like a real leech in here - tons of questions but no help to anyone else )

 

Anyway, how accurate is the McMillan Running Calculator? I can complete my workouts at the suggested training paces on there, often even faster.  I still have some doubts I can keep the paces they predict for a 10k or certainly not a half.

Welcome to the club. I have felt like this for years and I have just accepted it. Thankfully the guys in here are very cool and dont seem to mind.  Every once in a while I get to jump in and answer a real newbie question. It feels good when it happens, which is not often.

I had 6 on my schedule today. Went to the gym and due to lack of time only got two done. Did what I had to do and got home for late dinner. Not doing the six was weighing heavily on my mind. I ended up lacing em up and doing 4 miles in the 100+ heat. It was pretty damn painfull but I did it.

Love the looks I get from drivers. Some look at me and wave with total respect on their face. Others look at me like I am an idiot. I kind of enjoy both looks equally.

My legs are killing me right now.

I thought Cavill was great - I haven't seen him in much, but I thought he felt like Superman almost immediately. 

 

A lot of parallels to the Batman Begins journey. I kind of liked hobo Superman.

 

Eminem's mom's abusive boyfriend was very good in this.

 

Russell Crowe and Kevin Costner were both solid.
