I am currently in a 10 team PPR league, we can keep up to 6 players, and have a taxi squad of 5 players (free keepers as long as they aren't activated and used). We are looking to transition to a dynasty, and are trying to decide the best way to increase our starting lineups. We currently start:
1 Flex RB/WR/TE
We want to expand the rosters to 27 and expand starting lineups. However, adding a WR, RB, and extra starting TE, or more flex spots will cause the QB position to be even less valued (we don't want a player like Cedric Benson to hold the same value as Drew Brees). We don't want to add another starting QB spot because there really aren't enough QBs in the league to handle bye weeks appropriately, and if you don't end up having a starting QB you get a 0 for the week. We are thinking about adding a "superflex" spot, that would allow you to start any position (including QB), to give flexibility to owners that don't have a QB on certain weeks due to injury/byes.
Any thoughts on this or leagues that currently have one of these spots?
