In addition to TEAM DEF our league drafts a TEAM OL.

(and a PUNTER!...but I'll add him w/my last pick...no need to incorporate that.)

Do you have any suggestions as to how I could ADD the OL POSITION to DD. And whether or not updating the projections for the other positions would be a problem.

I know I asked this exact same question last year and if I recall correctly, I think I got no replies and figured it out for myself, but I must be getting stupider as I get older because I can't seem to recall what I did.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. (Great program btw)

If you are not using IDP players... then use one of the IDP tabs. For example, use the LB tab. In File - Setup - Projections, remove all of the Linebackers, and then add in your Offensive Lines. Put your ranking value in the TD column... and set the rest of the columns to zero. Then on the scoring page set TDs to 1. This way it will multiply 1 times your value ranking... and the Fantasy Points will equal the number you put in the TD column.

You will then have to set the LB starters to 1 on the File - Setup - General tab to get the LB tab to show up in the Player Pool. Note, this will also get you the DB and DL tabs... so you might want to use one of those for your punters and just clear the other one out.

Will I be able to update the other positions projections without overwriting the changes?

My draft is not until the end of Aug., should I wait to do this just prior to the draft?

Probably should wait then... as the updated projections will undo this. The other option is to keep your projections in the VBD Spreadsheet... and then copy/paste the new ones in each time a new VBD is released. Then import the VBD into the DD.

Any suggestions on how to add coaches? We go 10 points for a win, 5 for a tie, 0 for a loss.

I'd just add the coaches to the Def tab. You'll have to take your best guess at the number of wins and losses. One of your Def scoring categories is probably 1 point. I'd enter your guess into that column. For example, if you get 1 point per sack, and you think the coach is good for 10 wins... then enter a 100 in the sack column.

The best way to add the coaches is to add them to the Def tab of the VBD and then import it. This way you can give the Coaches a unique player id (column AY). The DD handles players with a ID better.
