This is league rather unorthodox to me.

I am taking over one of 12 keeper league teams. Auction draft $125
to fill 9 slots with a serpetine reserve draft for the remaining 10 slots. The
reserve draft will have predetermined dollar amounts ($75 total) to be used for
contracts (15,15,13,10,8,5,3,3,2,1). Current contracts/resignings count against the $125.

Players are signed for two years with an option for up to an
additional 2 years at a $5.00 premium over contract per year. This
means that 2 years ago, Manning was signed for $21. His contract was
up last year, so I need to decide whether to exercise my option to
resign him. If I exercise my option, I have to decide whether it's
for 1 year or 2 years. His contract would be $26 if I sign him for 1
year (this year only) and $31 for two years. He goes back into the FA
pool after this extension is up, regardless of how long I sign him (1
or 2 yrs). That is, I do not have an option to resign him after this
year.

I played with DD last night and didnt seem to find a way to come close to setting this up with any real accuracy. This is in large part because of the fixed dollar amounts for the 10 reserve draft slots.

In addition, the scoring is a little bit different. There is a "threshhold" that needs to be met in order to begin receiving points for yardage and receptions. Here is what I am talking about:

6 Points for all TD’s
2 Points for all 2 pt conversions
-2 for all Int. and Fumbles

QB’s
Combined Yards (Passing, Rushing, Receiving)
200-224 1pt
1 point for each 25 yards after

RB’s
Combined Yards (Rushing, Receiving and Passing)
60-69 1pt
1 Point for each additional 10 yards
4 receptions 1pt
1 point for each additional reception

WR’s
Combined Yards (Rushing, Receiving and Passing)
60-69 1pt
1 Point for each additional 10 yards
5 receptions 1pt
1 point for each additional reception

TE’s
Combined Yards (Rushing, Receiving and Passing)
30-39 1pt
1 Point for each additional 10 yards
3 receptions 1pt
1 point for each additional reception

The way I read this, if my QB throws for 255 yards, then I will receive 2 points, with the the third point coming at 275. This threshhold really skews the points per yard/reception calculation.

I'd appreciate some help on setting up DD for this league.

Put the player $$$ values in the Player Note 3 column (Right Click on the player and select Edit Notes, or do it from the Setup-Projections screen).

Then when you select a player it will be put $$$ in the Amt. Paid field on the Draft Status screen if Auction On/Off is checked. The Team Stats window will keep track of $$$ spent and $$$ left.
