Last year, when healthy, Bob Sanders was a tackling machine. Now, it appears that he is playing FS with Joseph Jefferson playing SS.

I believe it hurts his fantasy value, but a lot of people are really high on him, regardless if he plays SS or FS. I'm not so sure.

Just wondering what everyone thinks about Sanders numbers this year (read, "tackles"). I picked him up real late in my draft, but I probably won't throw him into the starting lineup until I see how he pans out at FS. He could be a steal where I got him, if he can do what he did last year at SS. Just curious.

Are we sure that's the long-term situation for this season? When Doss returns, how do they line up?

My instinct may be right since Sanders is way, way down in the rankings. SS Joseph Jefferson is even ahead of him. No respect, or is it because he is FS? I guess we'll find out.

When Doss returns the scenario that will most likely play out is Doss at FS and Sanders at SS. I still think Sanders is a good play in Wk 1 - Boller is no Joe Montana so Jamal Lewis will be getting his usual 20-25 carries. That equates to 4-6 tackles for Sanders IMO.

sanders is the #14 DB in consensus rankings.

not too shabby.

but obviously the season hasn't started yet...

that is where the rubber meets the road, so to speak.

no doubt there will be a lot of upward & downward movement throughout the season... for the rankings & projections.

where can i find said concensus rankings?

they are paid content... on front page, in box down center.

i thought projections were paid, too... so if you had access to one, you had access to other.

if not the case, sorry for confusion.

if you do have access to rankins... current ones show those of john, aaron, dave & myself, plus the average... that is the consensus.
