Okay, so the guy I am going against this week had Kerry Collins put up decent numbers, so I need to squeeze as many points as I can out of my defense.
I am fine with my DLs and LBs -
starting Charles Grant and Aaron Kampman (with John Abraham on my bench)
starting Ray Lewis and Nick Barnett at LB and Dan Morgan at flex (leaving Courtney Watson and Odell Thurman on my bench)
my dilemma is at DB (I have to start 2 DBs) -
Right now I have decided on Ed Reed and Gibril Wilson (leaving Darren Sharper and Sean Jones on my bench). But...with the proficiency of the Indy Colts on offense and the change in the Bal scheme, I am wondering if Sharper against TB might be the better play. With TB-Min projecting to a high scoring affair, Sharper may well have a field day against Griese and providing run support. The problem is that Reed is a home run hitter and I am just nervouis about the new scheme.
If it matters, the scoring for defense is 1 pt solo, 1 point half sack, 2 pts int/safety/sack, 6 pts td.
Our offenses are pretty evenly matched and i figure it will come down to defense.

I don't see how you can bench Reed, he has to be an automatic starter every week.

Reed is a better option than either Jones or Sharper. I'm not sure what the deal is with Jones. He has a huge upside, but make sure he gets all the reps before playing him. You know what you got in Reed - a playmaker. He may not get the most tackles, but he is always around the ball, and has the potential to make big plays. He has proven that. Start him w/o any hesitation.

Don't over think this. Start Reed.

Thaks all, you are rigth - it is too early in the season to be overthinking this. I drafted him as my #1 DB so I should start him. Thanks for the reality check.

Ouch. Sharper has a pick for a TD plus 3 tackles already (11 pts) at half. That is okay though because none of my offense is doing anything (Culpepper, Portis, Horn, Ward have combined for exactly 0 points at half). Looks like the Dolphins undefeated record is safe from my team this year.
