Full Version: Manually adding players

I'm in a keeper league with a separate rookie-only draft. Since not all of the rookies are in the projections, I added a number of players manually to be sure I had as many of them as possible in the player pool. When I downloaded the new projections, the players I added were no longer shown in the pool. It looks like the update completely replaces the player list each time.

I know it's getting late for this year, but as a future suggestion, how about a "manually added players" list that could be retained when the new projections are loaded?

For this year, I see two options for me:
1. Wait to add those rookies until the last minute, like the morning of the draft

2. Add the rookies, and then temporarily mark them all as "keepers" on one team. It looks like manually added players on the Keeper List aren't removed when I refresh projections. Then, the day of the draft, I could dump those players back into the draft pool.

Any other suggestions?

One other option is to add them to the bottom of the VBD Spreadsheet projections and then import them. When a new version is released, copy/paste the additions to the new VBD Spreadsheet projections and then import it.

That worked beautifully. thumbup1.gif

I was a little concerned what would happen when I mixed that in with my keeper rosters, but I did this:
1. Update VBD spreadsheet
2. Open DD
3. Import VBD
4. Open League file

And now I have my keeper data, my added players, and all's right with the (FF) world.

Thanks, Bruce!
