Entering the 2nd year in our IDP Auction Keeper -- I won the 12 man league last year (very competitive and fun).

We start: 1 qb, 2 rb, 2 wr, 1 te, 1 oflex (not qb), 1 k, 2 dl/de, 2 lb, 2 db/ss, 1 dflex
Standard scoring -- little high for tackles I gues 1.5 and 0.75
Half point per reception for wr and te only (not rb).

We need to drop players in few weeks to get to $350.

Me (currenly at $438) Bulger 30 - Roethlisberger 6 * Alexander 100 - Davenport 4 - Rudi J 36 - Willie Parker 19 - Chris Perry 4 * Bruce 18 - Glenn 26 - TO 37 - McCareins 5 - Wayne 24 * Heap 17 * Elam 10 * K Carter 4 - Peppers 29 - W Smith 6 * M Peterson 18 - A Davis 6 - Thurman 6 - A Pierce 11* D Hall 15 - S Knight 4 - Lewis Phi 4

Him (currenly 390) Brunell 37 -McNabb 38- Rivers 4 *Bell 20- Brown, R 26-
Davis, D 51* Coles 15 -Curtis 4 -Houshmandzadeh 15 - DJAX 24 - Moss 47*
Shockey 22 -Watson 4* Reed 5 * Griffin 4 -Rucker 4-Strahan $7* Barnett 20
Johnson, D 4 - Tatupu 4* T Davis Car 7 - Polamalu 22 - Krhodes 4 - G Wilson 5

Should I accept this offer:
I GIVE: Bruce $18 & Odell Thurman $6 & Sammy Knight $4
I GET: Houshmandzadeh $15 & Gibril Wilson $5

Here are my thoughts:
* Housh is and will cont. to be top 15 WR - Bruce is aging & Stl may go more with the run (SJax and new coach)
** G Wilson was #2 in DB/S in our league while Knight was #5 just 19 points behind but Knight is aging
*** My LBs last year -- we can start 3 -- MPeterson #2, ADavis #12 & young, Pierce #17 and Thurman #18 (great rookie year).... as you can see I hate to give up Thurman but I think this trade helps me(Housh for a great price and G wilson too)

Please Help this newbie...........Sorry so long, guys

I personally would not make the trade.

I really do not think Housh is a Top-15 lock going forward. If Chris Henry can keep his head on straight, I really think it's only a matter of time until either 1.) Housh is splitting time with Henry or 2.) Henry takes over the #2 slot in the Bengals offense.

Thurman has proved to be a playmaker. Yes...so has Wilson. However, solid 3-down MLB's are usually much harder to acquire than solid DB's.

I think you're selling Bruce low and buying Housh high, plus Thurman > Wilson.

Bengals | Police and Courts: Chris Henry
Mon, 30 Jan 2006 16:03:11 -0800

Henry Pierson, of the Orlando Sentinel, reports Cincinnati Bengals rookie WR Chris Henry was arrested Saturday, Jan. 28, and charged with possession of a concealed firearm, improper exhibition of a firearm and aggravated assault with a firearm. According to the arrest report, Henry stepped out of a limousine in downtown Orlando, Fla., and pulled a pistol from his waistband and aimed it at a group of people on the sidewalk within view of a police officer. The officer ordered Henry to drop the gun, to which he complied and was arrested. Henry was released from jail on $3,000 bail.

I wouldn;t have done it before the arrest, but if he's still willing, I'd do it now.
