Guys:

Sorry this took so long to get posted. I think that this covers all the important points. We can do a few of these a week.

If we decide a consistent format is best, folks could PM or e-mail the relevant detail for me to post, or they can post the details themselves.

I would like to get the bugs out of the formatting first, before we start posting more of these.

I'm game.

I'll go by position:

QB, I think you are fine obviously short term and long term. Manning/Frerrotte-Frye should be fine. Unless Garrard pans out you may be looking for a backup long term.

RB, you need some work. I like Thomas Jones to be a good RB2 long term, even with Benson. If Benson comes into his own, Jones will get moved IMO. Kevin Jones is hurting you, but I keep riding him if I were you. His value is only going up. FWP is a nice surprise but I do not see him as a long term prospect. You may want to move him for a WR or pick if you can get good value. If you need roster space I would think Sproles, Pearman, Staley and Hicks are your first cuts.

WR is super weak. Porter/Bennett/Clayton is not going to get it done IMO. This is your major area of need on O.

TE you are stacked long term. I would think about moving one for a WR upgrade since you can't start 2 TE.

DL, Osi/Abraham is super fine. Bernard is a fine backup. You probably need another starter and quality backup ...

LB, I bet you end up Thomas/Peterson/Mitchell and Quarles for now. Leroy Hill and Bockwoldt are fine long term bye week fill ins. Quarles may be good for another year. Not too high on Taylor long term. I bet he is on the bench 2006. Overall looking good.

DB is always such a crapshoot. I prefer to roster more DBs than you have here, and I think you need another "sure thing" performer at DB from the SS position. I would probably make this my point of Defensive emphasis in the draft ... For example, I cannot see a time when Hicks or Sproles will ever start at RB for you, so I would roster a DB prospect instead of him ... take a flyer on a DB and you may end up with another Tillman or something ...

JMHO. Hope it gives you some thoughts or ideas.

I bolded who i see as your starters...
the thing that jumps out at me is RB is a bit weak and I am one of the few that really likes KJ

WR is your achiles heel

TE has potential but is really young and not so much battle tested

DL 3 SUPER STARTERS(especially if berry bounces back from his injury)

LB a little long in the tooth due to Zach and Shelton but some nice upside in bockwoldt and Hill

DB considering you need to start 4 i think you have some nice guys but depth is an issue...however DBs that crack the top 10-15 almost always can be found on the WW at some point during the year.....

Current issues i think you need to address would be WR more then any other...
I would try to get a veteran TE doesnt have to be a stud but someone you can count on to just be steady if your youthfull group disappoints a bit...I think you are set with manning for the long term and frye will be a nice filler...Kaeding is a very nice kicker and i dont know how many kickers are usually on your ww but if they are scarce try and get someone should something happen to kaeding(i am used to 16 team leagues so there backup kickers and qbs are usually non exsistent on the WW)

I know this is your entire roster but are any of them on a ROOKIE SQUAD or are they all considered active?

fwiw I do like claytons future value but dont think you can rely on him this yr...

I would try and move ZACH and maybe shelton to get some WR help and try to get some mid level LB back in return if you can....
Keg
surely others wouldnt mind jumping in with this format

I think you need to trade Peyton Manning to the dominant team in your division in a massive package deal for top WRs and another top back wink1.gif
pretender
I'm not real good with the IDP's but I think they look pretty good to me. You need some depth at DL and DB because of starting requirements as someone else has said.

OK at QB

I agree a little weak at RB - I think that K Jones and FWP will be good RB
Need help at WR especially starting 3. I like Crayton and think he'll develop nicely but won't be anything but a #3 bye week fill in this season. KRob seems to be showing signs of new life - he could be a nice surprise. I don't know know about Charles R. if he gets traded to another team with less competition and can stay healthy.

Perhaps if Frye gets the starting nod you could swing a trade with Manning for a steady less expensive QB and pick up a good go to guy WR.

Just a few thoughts.
