Just wondering if the new version is worth updating to, since my draft is at noon today what are the enhancements to the new version.

If you updated the projections to R... then yes you will want the new version. David, redid all of the ADP numbers in version R, and the version 4.2b takes advantage of it.

If you didn't update to Projections R, then you don't need it.

I see that the release notes indicate that the Best Value Pick algorithm went through some fine tuning. I just took it out for a test drive and it does seem to be improved. It's leaving a lot less holes in rosters (although it's still allowing certain positions to go entirely undrafted), and appears to be slightly less RB weighted than it used to be. It's still tends to go heavy on the QBs though. But, all in all, an improvement. I'm glad I downloaded it (I had already upgraded to the R1 projections via VBD import while running 4.2a).

Bruce,

Did David use Tbone's ADP composite tool? Because the ADP in DD 4.2b have a couple of tweaks (such as Rickey Williams at 1.01, SALex at 1.06 and McNabb at 1.10?) that I can't find. If David used his own recent research thats great, I just wanted to make sure I didn't screw up this vital info.

I had taken the ADP tool and loaded all the overall numbers in the VBD P1, AZ column and then used that in the prior version of the DD.

Thanks for a great app and Kudos for David for always striving to give us the latest edge.

To be honest... I'm not sure how David comes up with the ADP numbers. I do know though that he is always working very hard behind the scenes to make them the best he can.
