Derrek Lee should not be 2nd place for 1B.

Pretty sure it includes fielding and hitting.

Well, if you take his defense into account, he is pretty damn close to the total package...if the power comes back this year, I don't have any problems with him at #2...

I didnt click on the link. But if it does include defense, how the hell is Manny Ramirez #2?

Surprised to see Beckett with Best curve. It's filthy no doubt.... but best... hrmm

Paps with the best splitter... I can buy that. It's pretty sick (thanks Schilling thumbup1.gif)

Manny Ramirez as 2nd best left fielder = lol.gif.... bat wise.. maybe... but total package? He's got a great arm.. and he plays the monster well, but his range/hustle factor is putrid.

I'll take Hanley over Tulo 10 out of 10 times.

Hanley is a disgrace in the field.
Eviloutsider
It looks like some serious Boston/East Coast Bias in that list.

Joba hasn't proven anything yet.

Really? Outside of Manny Ramirez (lol.gif) I find it hard to disagree with any of those names.
Eviloutsider
Maybe I am just a huge believer in Beckett yet. Also, Mariano and Papelbon should not be the best closers. If you want to go by past history than Mariano is fine. If you want to go by recent history than Papelbon is fine. You can't go both ways.

Manny on the list is funny. Joba is unproven. Cano is a little iffy in my mind as well. I will agree on the Ortiz-most clutch thing though.
the moops
Tom Glavine should not be 2nd on the list in control.

Maddux averaged a MLB best 1.14 BB/9. Glavine had a 2.9 BB/9. Which is right in line with his career numbers.

I also can't believe it is a tie between Beckett and Santana as best pitcher. Beckett may have had a better year than Sanatana last year, but that would be the fist time in his career he has done so. Santana >>> Beckett.

Apparently, fielding wasn't taken into consideration. See Magglio.
