He had a solid spring (.308, 2HR, 7 Runs, 7 RBI), but he's only in there today because Drew was a late scratch with lower back tightness.

Naw.. .he won't contribute this year. He's only getting the start because Drew has a dinged up back.

He's currently blocked by Drew and will likely be shopped to fill a Boston need. Could be a decent starter on a lower-level MLB squad.. I don't think he's the next Manny Ramirez by any stretch... I'd see him as a potential .275 / 25HR / .825 OPS / 5SB kinda guy in the bigs. Solid role player but nothing spectacular.
