so yeah, i got a lot of SB's ahead of me, but don't seem to have very many that will put up the HR punch. I'm not sure who/what i can give up at this time (i'm new to this), but I really think I am weak on 1b.
Any thoughts/advice to offer? Punt HR's? and hope for the best? shesh, i hope not

You had to realize that you were not even close to being competitive in power. Not only are you hurting in HRs, but your RBI numbers are pretty bad also. It will be tough to compete when you are getting a 1 in HR and RBI.

You can not take 4 pitchers and 3 speed only guys in the top 9 rounds. Guillen is not a power guy either. If it were me I would have gone

Arod
Crawford
Tex

No need to grab pitching so early. No way would I have drafted Figgens if I already had Crawford and Roberts. It was decent value, but not what your team needed.

Try to trade 2 of your speed guys for some power. You have good players, just went overboard with speed guys.

Yeah, I see all of that now... and well i saw it in the middle of the tenth round... thats my plan to dump a few speed for some power.
I am trying to propose a trade, but really have no idea where to value my guys vs where everyone else picked their guys

who cares, just start offering trades. thats how you gauge interest. im sure some turd drafted fielder, ortiz, and thome, or something like that...

Or you could rack up on the SB's in the first part of the year, then deal for some sluggers who are off to a slow start. Historically HR rates increase as temperature does throughout the year.

Try to bank some SBs before making a deal. Hopefully, your speed guys will get off to a hot start and be more attractive trade targes.

You have your work cut out for you. Your power would be below average in a 12 team league.
